Omg the older he gets, the more he looks like his father
Another interesting fact is that Martin Sheen father was born in Galicia which is the Region where the pilgrimage ends.
One of the best Films I've watched. It will make you question everything
I'm from Spain and I feel so proud of them❤ I live in a city that is part of el Camino de Santiago.
Which one?
Fantastic film, inspirational! Just like Emilio said, I booked the flight after seeing this film and walked the Camino last year! Can’t wait to see it again on the big screen!
I’ve always loved Emilio. He’s beautiful in every way. An awesome Actor :) 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
He seems like such a classy gentleman!! And still absolutely gorgeous!!!!!
Just like his Dad 😉
Stark difference from his brother...
I love emilio my biggest celebrity crush. Still looks good❤❤
Love "The Way", watched it many times.
He looks fantastic. I really wish we would see him act again.
This film is off the charts terrific! I've watched it 5 times plan on watching it this weekend!
My mom (who is 72) and I recently did our own Camino this past May. We were inspired by Emilio's movie "The Way" back when it was first released. It was tough for both of us, some days I pushed my mom and some days she pushed me. Even with the sore feet, aching legs, blisters and lack of motivation some mornings I would do it again.
I tell as many people as I can to watch The Way. Thank you, Emilio 🙏
I always hoped that I would meet emilio somewhere, some day, just to let him know that I admire him in his work but most off all, that when I was 4 years old, the breakfast club was the very first movie I’ve ever seen in the cinema, and until today, he will always be my very first unreachable crush 😍😔. Such a shame, but I’m not born in the USA but also we’ve so many things in common. Hikes in beautiful landscapes, the love for a good wine, no care for status or whatever, but most off all the Camino. And the meaning behind it.
Hes so postive and strong
I remember seeing this movie years ago and i just thought about it again. Glad to hear its being re released!
Emilio's greatest acting ever!
Making this fluff interview interesting & moving.
Congrats.
Saw this film highly recommended 👌❤❤
My wife and I so enjoyed & loved this movie.....April 23 we fly to Portugal to hike the Portuguese root to Santiago De Compostella, the short spiritual root being were old and slow....LOL! God Bless you all...
Good luck! I hope to do the Camino in the future. No $$ and time yet, need to save up. Safe travels. Buen camino!
SO SWEET HOW HE CAME TO TALK ABOUT THE MOVIE...
AND ONLY YAPPED ABOUT HIS PAPA AND HIMSELF!
ACTORS ARE SO SELF ABSORBED!
Absolutely brilliant film!!!
😢 This film makes me think of my late husband. I chose it for the hiker in him and he loved it. Maybe someday I'll walk it for him.
@clarisahernandez5280, I think you should walk the Camino in your husband's memory. He would like that and it will bring you closer to him. Blessings.
I love that movie!!! I wanna watch it again!!!
This is an absolute favorite! The story, the meaning of the Camino, the characters - all truly amazing!
When it was originally released I loved this movie. I wanted to travel the Camino but none of my friends were interested even when I shared the movie with my friends it was passed over and I always wondered why I was so attached to it. During Covid times I tried to find it but it had disappeared completely and I was so sad….I love the movie it hit me emotionally deep in my heart and soul. So glad it made a second coming, I think we can all thank the lord himself for helping to save this movie
Raza so proud of this Cat and his Dad n Brother
Love the actor
The movie is very cool! I watch it about once a year for inspiration.
Fabulous movie, my husband at 71 is walking it , come August 22nd 2023.
Buen Camino
Jenna did the Camino de Santiago in a year when I was on it. She was very distinct because she had Secret Service protection.
The movie starts with my hometown, Ventura, California at the opening shot!
"The Way" should have been given many Oscars. (Netherlands)
Thank you!
a favorite film
Very good movie, practically all the people who hike for great distance have their reasons and the endurance is at your own pace, hiking has its good and uncomfortable moments that everyone goes through😊..been there,it's tough first-time but, reaching your destination is what counts...cross-country day's!80's 😊
Emilio still out here looking FOYN AF 🔥🔥🔥
My Grandfather is from Ferrol Spain and it's my dream to do the Camino.
My favorite movie
Wonderful movie
I missed the rerelease because....I was walking the Camino Frances. It has been on my bucket list since I saw the movie in a theater in 2011.
Can’t believe that my 😍 is a grandfather…but then again, it has been awhile since the Brat Pack days!
Emilio looks nowhere near 61 years old!
Right I’m shocked!
😍😍😍🎥🍿
I have a smart phone and I would love to get back to my flip phone. I want to make phone calls! Not to use it to access the web. I want to TALK to people on the telephone!
This is one of my very favorite movies. I was moved deeply by these four travelers on the Camino. And how they came to become real friends, warts and all.
Anyone that needs any advice or direction in regards to making your pilgrimage, I'd be happy to offer where I can.
I’m heading to Spain Madrid about how much money would it cost for a trip like this I heard it takes 40 days at the most can I make camp 🏕
@@xxo-deathshot-oxx2047
If you walk El Camino Frances route, the one depicted in the movie, it can take anywhere from 34 to 40 days on average. We walked our first one in 36 days with two rest days. Our shortest day was 11 miles, our longest day was 27 miles and we averaged 16 miles per day.
As to the cost..... this can range wildly. If you stay in Albergues these typically cost between $10 and $20 US and include a meal. So say you averaged $15 and you did take a full 40 days for your journey, that would equal approx. $600 US.
As for the camping..... there are some places where you can make camp, but this isn't very common. I would search online for a list of camping sights along whichever route you intend to walk.
If you stay in albergue at $15 per day average and add another $10 per day average for meals and misc, a 40 day journey would run you about $1,000 US, not including your transportation cost of getting to Spain.
Hope this helps and Buen Camino!
I ♥Emilio.
Saint Elmo's Fire, The Breakfast Club...
If you've not made your pilgrimage to Santiago, do what you can to make it so.
Reapect my Grandma to much to deny her name. Interested in the premise of this movie.
Haven't gone on it yet but want to. I've never seen any reference to the specific neighborhood gate in Burgos shown in the movie where the group says goodbye to the gypsy father. Anyone know specifically where it is?
i am jethro tull and i love the way
He is my my crush I would do anything to get to know him
Inspired my wife and I to do the Camino, thank you to the Estevez’s. Four Camino’s later……
GALLEGOS AGE WELL ❤🍷
He’s sound like Ralph macchio
My goodness he still looks the same.
Yeshua is "The Way" ✝️
He's great. All I heard from the other two was blah blah blah blah bla
Does he have a middle name? Each of his siblings has it.
Is this re release because fellow Brat Packer Andrew McCarthy has just released a book about walking the path with his own son? Intriguing coincidence.
He looks better than Tom Cruise. He looks more like himself after all these years. His boyish genetics have helped. Everyone always hyping up Tom Cruise lol.
