After 2 days of research I found the Yoga C740 (14'', i5-10210U, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD) the best Covertible for my budget (under 1000 EUR) and needs: programming, researches, some multimedia and some light games (Legends of Runeterra, Hearthstone, etc.) on the couch and on the desk. A tiny allrounder. I got mine for 899 EUR via amazon and I can't wait.
Just bought it for Software Engineering! But for some reason the 15 inch is cheaper than the 14 inch. I hope the 15 inch will live up to my expectations :)
My wife & I got these in July (ordered in June). She got the 14" and I went with the 15" - both Core i7, 16GB, 1TB. I got the Active Pen with mine & Lenovo Bluetooth Laser Mouse. Battery life is far better than the Surface Pro it replaced. My only real complaint is opening the lid without the base coming with it. This is where Apple really did the R&D. We both like them.
If you buy from the Lenovo education store it does come with a pen, either side of the trackpad at the bottom is magnetic which the pen attaches to. I’ve had this machine a few weeks now I’ve had no defects either was concerned about the hinge but no issues, no coil wine
How are you liking it a month later? Is the battery life good? I'm concerned mostly about how reflective the screen is. Considering the 500nits display
I love the looks and feel of this device. I have a relatively "old" Lenovo ThinkPadn14 and you can really see the difference between the built-in quality.

Agree with you on specs, but I recently bought it and had some issues with it. It makes a cracking noise on the left of the touchpad. I returned it twice both had that issue appearing whenever you closed or opened it. And I mean Lenovos customer support is just shitty here in Europe. Took forever to replace it and now I am still waiting for my money.

I ordered this one because I'm the past 3 years the Lenovo legion is complete trash and the HP I had went through 3 hard drives in one year... the yoga has been my favorite with no issues but a broken screen once which I finally got repaired once it became available recently... my 10th gen I just received is awesome though

How is the fan compared to the 940; i just got my c940 UHD and the right fan has a high pitched whine (sucking air through the grill, not the fan itself) and it runs almost constantly when plugged in. I need to return it :-( (rest of the c940 is perfect) Should I try a c740 and hope the fan runs way less and more silent? Can you compare and give a statement on that? (I already love the c940.... but the fan issue is unacceptable at 1800€)

Before buying any Lenovo product- be aware and be prepared for the worst customer experience of your life. The service we have received from Lenovo Africa has been disgusting, the lack of customer care, their attitude towards a warranty claim (screen malfunctioning), and general attitude of all parties involved is disgusting to say the least. I would strongly advise anyone considering any Lenovo Product think again, and look elsewhere.

In all honesty i would not even consider an intel machine based on performance its just a shame OEM's dont make amd laptops as the (probably get paid by intel or at least incentivised).
How about paying $750 for a c740 certified excellent in best buy or $900 for a c940 certified satisfactory ? Which one will be better ...help pleaseeeee

The bottom panel of the laptop is slightly loose..try to tighten the screws at the bottom..i hope that wil help

Also I use mine with some pretty complex estimating software that ruins computers but yoga never gave me headaches on that end
I got the Ideapad flex 5 core i5 10th gen 4 days ago, I felt that they’re similar but the flex 5 is cheaper and more portals available.

Try resetting the laptop. That helped me
Slide the camera open and go to Lenovo vantage there's an option to turn the camera on and off.
