I just wanna toss out there that I've been using my C940 for about 2 months now (got it based on your review actually), and it's in the foldy modes with the keyboard on the table most of the time. No scratches or issues or anything from not having feet, it's just a little slippery. Killer little machine too.
I have had the Iron Gray i7/16G/1T for a few weeks now. I am loving it. I've been on a MacBook for about 8 years now, but needed a dedicated Windows machine for some training I do. I use Windows all day at work as well and Excel is so much nicer not on iOS. The speakers were not really in an issue. I thought the C940's speaker bar was a great idea, but honestly I doubt I would ever use just watch stuff in tablet mode. It seems tiny with a huge screen!
@@JohnnyZBeatZ not to be rude or anything, but that question is unnecessary. Any laptop can watch Netfix or Hulu. If you are maybe talking about the display quality... well that's a different ball game. If I am not mistaken, you get two versions. The 4k edition and the normal full hd edition. The 4k is just more crispier than the did. But both will be fine for watching Netflix.
Just got this same laptop last week at Best Buy for 549 dollars..I got lucky cuz shortly after it went back up to 649 dollars...just checked and now it’s sold out!....Great review by the way!👍
Hi. In video description you say the machine has an Ice Lake, but actually the processor is a Comet Lake in the C740 so it has the old style Intel UHD graphics. The C940 has the Ice Lake processor with Iris Plus Graphics so will be much faster. Also the C940 has DDR4 memory whereas this has DDR3. So quite a few differences which you didn't mention which would affect performance. Still for the money it's amazing value. :)
@@TheDigitalDigest Hopefully you change the message when you do the detailed review as anyone buying this will think they are getting a C940 without 2 minor things when in fact they are getting a machine which will probably benchmark significantly less.
I had pretty irritating issue with the left hinge which started cracking after 5 or 6 weeks of usage. Got it replaced and everything's fine since then (3 months after repair now). But still a great laptop for me though.
