- The moss stitch is really fun to crochet! I love the way it looks when you change colors and make stripes. Try it and let me know how it goes.

I've been afraid to watch ONE MORE tutorial on the Moss stitch. I'm glad I pulled up my big girl bloomers and watched this one. So clear and easy, I got it! So much classier than single crochet. Thank you
Thank you I’ve watch like 10 different videos and attempted this stitch 4 times! After watching your video it finally clicked!! I’m a beginner self taught crocheter, I going to attempt a temperature blanket this year and I really wanted to try this stitch because I love the way it looks with the color changes!
Same. This is the only video where I’ve understood this stitch. So THANK YOU!!
Its funny because ive watched a few videos on this stich and each has different directions. This one looks great, cant wait to try
Best directions, thanks for doing multiple turnarounds. I find this much easier than doing solid single crochet
I have been watching several videos on the moss/linen stitch and they were not clarifying enough for me….until I watched your video. The lightbulb went on and the stitch is a breeze! Thank you soooo much for showing me the right way! In English….lol
Thank you so much for doing this video!! Very easy to understand
Your suggestion to look for the two "legs" and inserting your hook to the left of them was so helpful to me. Thank you!
I have been struggling & confusing myself with where to put my hook- thanks for making this so clear! :)
I’ve got to try this stop itch. Nice and solid, no holes. Thank you!
Thank you for explaining the stitch so simply! Planning to make some fingerless gloves with the stitch ❤❤
Would love to see how those turn out!
Beautiful thanks for showing us this, i love it
I love it too!
I have been using the granny square yarn for the moss stitch I love it
Me too!
@@CrochetWithDelight I have been doing a c 2 c by hooked by Robin it turns out so nice. I also did a waffle stitch by fiber spider with the one with orange and white granny square yarn it turned out really pretty. I did the one that starts in the center.
This was an amazing tutorial, thank you very much!!!
Glad it was helpful!

It really was!
Hii I have a question, can you show us how to change colour with this stitch please?
i have a crochet stitch book and this stitch is similar to the Woven stitch that is in the book that i have
Yes I think this stitch has a couple of different names!
This is extremely frustrating. I’m chaining an even number, turning, doing a SC in the 4th chain, chaining one, skipping one, chaining one, etc, all the way across - and wind up with one chain at the end rather than two. I’ve tried numerous times. What am I doing wrong?
I have that problem sometimes ,and for the life of me i can't figure where I went wrong
You can use it with fair isles yarn
How do u decrease?
What size hook?
Depends on your yarn! I like to use anywhere from a G-J hook for worsted weight yarn.
This is not beginner friendly.
Agree, way too fast !
You can slow down any video if you think it’s too fast to watch. Also easy to back it up to watch a part of it repeatedly. This is a great video as there’s no annoying music and she is close to her camera👍🏼 Best moss stitch how-to!
I’m struggling! This is a new demo I’m trying. Hope I can get it.
Some video tutorials say to use an odd number of stitches for foundation row for moss stitch and some even. And different number of chains to start on in alternate rows. Can be confusing for beginners.
