I love your teaching style & how enthusiastic you are about sharing our craft. Your love of yarn definitely shows in your trailer. I've been crocheting for over 35 years but Tunisian crochet scared me until I found your tutorials. Lots of love and yarny hugs 💗
I fell asleep watching TH-cam last night and the most wonderful thing happened: I woke up to one of your videos. I do not knit or crochet (I lean toward sewing, quilting and stained glass) but HAD to subscribe. The positivity, creativity and love you exude spoke to me. And book reviews too!!! You feel like a dear, good friend. Thank you for what you do. I am going to look forward to your content for so many reasons.
I made two baby blankets from this video, and about to make a throw size blanket for a Christmas present! Thank you soooooo much for sharing with us, your tutorial has brought so much joy to not only me, but those I get to gift to! :)
This is an outstanding tutorial! Thank you for the extra attention to detail. I'm just learning to crochet, so I watch a lot of videos. This one is great! I've been using the single crochet trim around my knitted squares for a while. It's fun.
I've been trying to figure out how to do this with 2 colors, changing every row, and just couldn't figure out a way that looks neat on the edges without cutting the yarn. Now, I see that the best way will be to add a third color. Thank you for the very clear instructions!
I want to THANK YOU for wonderful instructions for every Tunisan Stitch. I have crocheted, knit, and pretty much all crafts, for 45 years . But you and your wonderful happy attitude and smile make my day. Also I crochet and any handwork to relieve stress 2021 was a bad year for myself I had 3 surgeries in 1 year last in December, and 3 family passing in the same year, my Dad, his brother next day, and my cousins son. Thank you thank you thank you for brightening my day
I've been crocheting and knitting for years, but I still watch your tutorials because I love the aesthetic. I love your use of beautiful colors and different types of fibers. I think if more people experimented with the vast array of fibers available it would help breathe new life into their crafting, especially with crochet. There is just something magical about branching out and trying new things, especially when your preferred craft gets boring and repetitive. Thank you for these great videos, and congratulations on your new Skillshare class.
This is EXACTLY what I need right now - I'm a pandemic crochet beginner and I bought a jacket pattern and yarn and then got scared of the stitch - especially all the joining of different colours, so the skill-share you give on the floats is perfect for me. Subscribed xx
I taught myself to crochet years ago and wanted to make blankets like my grandma did. She passed when I was in 8th grade and was never able to pass down her knowledge to me. My mom always knew she used a different technique then regular crochet but didn’t know exactly what it was. Turns out it was Tunisian crochet and I’m so glad I found your channel to not only find beautiful crochet crafts but also learn Tunisian crochet that makes me feel closer to my grandma and I hope to be able to make work as beautiful as hers was! Thank you so much for sharing your craft!
You have such beautiful skin, and a perfect face. Love watching your channel every now and then. Thank you for teaching so many different crochet stitches on TH-cam!
Love this stitch!!! I've never seen it before. I don't usually like striped aphgans. But THIS STITCH is different and beautiful. You are a great teacher. Gonna do a baby blanket with this stitch. How pretty it will be. Thx for vid. Austin,TX USA
Thanks! I am 77 and I learned to crochet when I was 5, so been at it a while. I am still learning! You are one of the best teachers I have found. And your smile and voice brighten my day. Thank you for all you do for the art of crochet. Kay Fulmer
Your explainations are so helpful! "Chain 2 TO rotate..." "...always turn away from myself..." pointing with needle as you count using bright, high-contrast, non-fuzzy yarn etc. Your focus on the FUNCTION of your actions is so valuable for extrapolating the knowledge for other projects. This leftie is grateful!
I really love that you call the viewers 'my loves' when you say hi. Your smile and your enthusiasm are everything. That warms my heart every time I watch your videos 💗 Thank you so much for all the amazing tutorials
I have been crocheting for over 50 years (I recently retired) and it has always been one of my very favourite crafts (I love sewing, knitting, embroidery, applique etc too). I have just found your channel and I love it... currently binge watching! XXX
I love this site. You are a very good (awesome) teacher. I am 82 years young and have been crocheting for many years. Your instructions are so clear and so easy to follow. It’s amazing that you made a temperature blanket. So much work. Thanks for your sunny attitude and big smile. I love your detail in your instructions. 👍🥰
OMG!! You are already such a great teacher here on TH-cam, I can only imagine how amazing the classes you create are going to be! I recommend your channel to literally everyone, especially those trying out Tunisian for the first time. So happy for you! 🥰
@@TLYarnCrafts of course!! You are so thoughtful with your explanations and treat every video as if it is someone’s first ever time seeing crochet. Your Tunisian are especially great because of how different it is to regular crochet and not many people take the time to thoughtfully explain not only the how’s, but the why’s for every step. You’re awesome! 💪❤️
I like this stitch. I've been musing about a stitch for a cardigan and this may be it for me. It looks like it makes a warm fabric and it's a nice change from double crochets.
Hi I’m new to your channel from the uk I’m self taught crocheter you make this very easy to follow thank you . I now have to watch more videos but not have too many WIPs ❤
Your tutorials are awesome!! I've crochet for years and love the Tunisian stitch in blankets so I'm learning 😊 as I practice this technique, I have to listen to your videos..such a talented woman ❤
Thanks for telling us how you choose the order of your colors for this tricolor stitch. The continuation of the stitch for the border is beautiful, and the consistency of the pattern there makes the border an integral part of the piece. I might have expected a straight sc border, but the one you used is wonderful and simple. Your swatch makes me want to run out and grab yarn for a large project!
Amazing teacher. I have been crocheting for over 50 years. I love your teaching style and explanations of the stitches and the yarn you use. Thank you for the great tutorials.
I willl to 5ell how great of a teacher you are. i croched scince i was a little girl self tount . i recently had a stroke which affected my hands.I worried that i wouldnt be able to crochet again it was my life eith out it i wouldnt know what to do .so astime went on and starting over again little by little. a lottt of patients i learned sol from you you made learning fun. you have made my life better
Just found your channel and I LOVE it! You explain your work really good. I have been crocheting for 40 years and I learn something new from watching this video. Keep up the good work and will keep watching THANKS
I'm so in love with the 3 color linen stitch! The way it minimizes weaving ends is a god-send, and the end product is so beautiful with minimal effort. Definitely my go-to for dish towels and cloths :) Thanks for sharing this, it's a gamechanger for me :)
This is such a fabulous pattern of a stitch I personally have struggled with. I am going to use the tutorial to get better at it and create a beautiful tri color blanket! although may be more then 3 colors lol as I have some purples in 4 shades I would love to use to create this. Thank you for a wonderful and easy to follow tutorial.
I've just started a blanket for my grandma using this pattern with chunky weight yarn in a dusty pink, grey and cream and it looks so beautiful! Thanks so much for this simple but effective pattern 😍
This is a very pretty pattern I have never carried my yarn up my work I have always cut ever color and sew in the ends I will have to try this thank you for sharing
As always an Amazing tutorial! Your work and explanations are Fantastic. I have been crocheting since I was 4, 51 years and still learn things when I watch you!! And Congratulations on the book and the teaching with Skillshare!!! 💗💗💗 Beth
I really like the way you explain everything hunny, but only second time I see you pray your doing well and that blanket was pretty and the weather your yard looks lovely. I love how you make sound so easy to do I'm still learning a lot, so thank you for teaching us all more new things.❤

So glad to meet a fellow lifelong learner :-) Thank YOU for your generosity.
Loved your moss stitch done with white, yellow and orange. Looked for several hrs tonight for this pattern done this way. Thank you.
Definitely a project to crochet for family and friends. Coasters, trivets.

Fantastic tutorial. It didn't occur to me that you solved the problem of an odd# of colors by pulling a color up from 2 rows below. Genius.
