Even though this is a old video and a common stitch, I love the way that you present it very nice and easy and thank you for going slow so I could catch it the first time

One of the best tutorial on the moss stitch. Nice and slow and well explained. I do have to point out, sometimes, it is hard to find that space but I discovered that if I look for the “v” the space is between them. So that is where I can insert the hook to create the single crochet.

Thank you for explaining the stitch to go into on the second row as the skipped stitch. Other videos have not made that clear, and this explanation helped me to understand the process so much more.

Thank you so much for this video. I was given a load of wool that was due to be used by a relative who then died. Her family wanted to celebrate her memory and I offered to make a blanket that would 'hug' any of them. Then I froze because I couldn't think of a tough, easy to do stitch... Until I saw your video.
Thought you'd like to know the effort you made to make this tutorial will be affecting more folk than you'd hoped for 😊.

Thanks for this demo! I watched another video for the moss stitch and it said to use only one turning chain (and the foundation was skip only one stitch). It made it very squished and hard to find where to place the last stitch in the next row. Your method of two turning chains (and skip three stitches in the foundation) makes is so much easier and clearer in the next row. I'm planning to use the moss stitch for my temperature blanket this year -- just waiting on my yarn delivery

I end with 2 regular sc's at the end of each row. When I turn, I make one sc, and then the second sc, and then skip a stitch and continue on with the moss stitch. It makes for perfect, solid sides.
