My boyfriend asked me to design a logo for him. I was pretty pissed first because I used to own Adobe Creative Cloud and I thought it would be impossible to create something unique with Open Source software (I'm a silly perfectionist). Your tutorials proved me SO wrong, there are so many great things to do with Inkscape and Gimp. I appreciate your channel a lot and am now so motivated to keep going. Thank you Mr. Nick Saporito. :-) Greetings from Germany!
amazing techniques.. really impressive. im following ur tutorials but not with inkscape. im using gravit designer. it's really intuitive vector tool better easier than inkscape to me. it's free. try it Nick! u will love it.
Excellent, thank you! (No blunders at all from me along the way - very rare!) Then I had a go at making 5 that were 'thinner' in terms of the faces being thinner, for the purposes of interlocking them as per the Olympic Rings. 0 out of 10 for me on that so far.
Try restarting Inkscape. I get that problem sometimes too. The snap functions stop working, and when I save & restart - or even copy & paste everything into a new document - it works again.
how do you know about giving gradients correctly/professionally?? I just don't get the idea most of the times, even when I make gradients, they don't look natural....what am I lacking?
How your brain gets a handle on working this out I have no idea. very impressive Nick.
If you plan everything out...its easy...It seems hard because you can't picture it the way he does..
Just what I was thinking :)
