Hi Cyd: I did this job already on my C1; just the way you did. The last thing I did was to change the rusted screw of the back lights to shiny new ones. Because the built in plastic thread inserts were a little bit worn out, I put 4 mm rawlplugs in. This works perfectly! It was nice to see you again! I’m looking forward to the next video! Bye - Martin

Howdy, Martin. I started out taking a deliberate break, intending it to be about 4 weeks, but you know how it is, life just got in the way.

Hi Cyd. Thanks for all your great videos. I have a question if you don't mind. I have a Citroen C1 2008. It has starting to cough when idle and behaves jumpy when it a little bit cold outside. Where would you start to find out what's wrong?
    Fuelpump? Fuelfilter?

I’ve recently replaced my original 10 year old battery on my Pug, as on cold cranking the voltage was dropping to about 9.5 volts!
I fitted a 063 battery which is a slight upgrade on the 202.
Bought the cheap Lion brand battery from Euro parts (only £40) with 3 years warranty.👍
Hoping these cheap batteries are half-decent quality!🙏

Lovely video. Thank you. I have a question … do you have a red wire coming off your positive terminal at battery. ?
    On ours
It goes into a plug that has a green relay (4 pin and it says 03608) on ours the wire has snapped off and the crimp terminal is snapped off the relay In the plug 👀🙈😩
Do you know what this is for? And also I can’t find a relay with that number anywere on the internet ? 😕 many thanks

I know, it had me questioning myself trying to remember if we'd ever changed the battery, but we hadn't. Up until about 18 months ago it was used every day to go to work (my wife's) which was about 30-35 minutes each way. I put it down to that - it's such an easy engine to start it probs only takes the alternator 15-20 mins to refresh the charge used and the electrical load on the car is tiny too.

Did you remove the transport vent blanking plug(s ) before fitting ? Looks like i can see a red one still in place ? These plugs must be removed as they vent the gas they are plugged for transport to prevent spillage.

Are these popular in Europe? Don't think I've seen a single one in the states.

Oh, gosh yes. They sold boat loads of 'em. Very popular and have quite the cult following. There's even a race series.
They're extremely basic city cars , weighing in at around 900kg with a 68 horse 1 litre 3 pot petrol engine. My missus gets around 50mpg in the city (imperial) and can get up to 65-70 on a motorway run.
You won't have seen them in the USA, they were never engineered for that market, not even the Toyota Aygo version.
