      @@kodeDev Hi, Kev, and thank you for getting back, I saw your response just now.
      For some reason your comment gave me the impression you have been mostly freelancing wihtout much 9 to 5 work experience in an office. As somebody who is currently learning to code I would, of course, go for a traditional career shift with a 9 to 5 on-site job, but, hey, I don't wanna write off freelancing -although in the beginning I will not have any previous experience (can have a portfolio though)
      So any tips and advices in that direction would be great. I also took in consideration your response to Adhishek. Myabe your upcoming channel would be of help for me, so I will stay tuned. Maybe I should dig in Alexander's videos as well.

    No matter what platform someone more experienced with more review gonna take my job.
    Upwork is worst because they give only few attempts and if none of your proposal gets accepted by clients (again because more experienced people takes it away from you) then they will block your account permanently.

    You really motivate me to finally start learning skills to make some good money as a freelancer so I can finally become location independent.
    I got fired on purpose to chase my passion as a writer but it's gonna take a while to make money with that since finishing a good legendary book takes time.
    But I need to learn a quick skill so I can earn quick cash in the meantime to keep myself being able to chase that dream.
    I'll start with WordPress.
    Thx man. 😎

    Hi Aleksander! How I wish I've known your vlogs sooner. This is really great! Thank you so much. However, is it necessary that when you're starting to become a web developer, you really need to niche down? For example, my first client would be from a food business. Should I focus on delivering websites about food business? I'm really curious on this one because I'm a little bit confused.

    • @AleksanderVitkin
      @AleksanderVitkin  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You don't need to sell to a specific type of client like "food business client" when selling on Upwork. Sell a specific type of website instead built on a specific platform.

      well you have to decide, frontend or backend. During the time you trying to think about it just be learning javascript cause that is used on both frontend and can be done on the backend. Then go udacity or udemy. Pick good curated courses and start learning.
