Thanks for posting this video of a car of my youth. I could remember is a 12 year old going to the car dealership with my parents and checking out two different Plymouth models of that era. Brand new on the lot we got in the car to take it for a test drive and both of them had water pooling in the back floorboard of the backseat sticker still in the window and water pooling in the backseat I guess my dad said that’s enough of that. We We left and ended up buying a Oldsmobile delta 88 which I inherited a couple years ago and lovingly care for still to this day.

I inherited a 1975 Fury Sport green 2 door with white interior and white vinyl top when i was 16. Also had the 400 4 barrel carb. I went put a 440 in and added mags from a 1979 lil red express truck that fit perfectly. Best car i ever owned.

I ordered a 1976 Sport Fury, black, gold interior, bucket seats , sunroof, hd suspension, 400 4bbl, dual exhaust, hd alternator, hd battery it listed at $6776.00 I put Cragar SS wheels on it. Since I had the 400 4bbl it used leaded gas, so no catalytic converters. But they put the smaller gas tank neck on the tank. So I had to use a funnel to put gas in it until it got changed. I got about 10 mpg with that car, good thing it was cheaper then. I started with ordering a 1975 Roadrunner, but it was late in the year, so they wanted to alter some things, but when they asked to put a 318 in it, I said no and cancelled. 1975 was the only year the Roadrunner was in this body. In 1976 they put it in the smaller Dart/ Duster body.

My first car was a 76 Plymouth Fury. Robin egg blue with a white landau top. Same interior as yours. Unfortunately some drunk plowed into it while parked one night and totaled it. I was 16 and devastated until I got the insurance check which was 10 times more than what I paid for it.

I have the only one in Alabama. But it has the vinyl too and all the body trim. White leather interior. Black on white. I drive it everyday. Smooth sailing and proud of it. Mine is a sport model. I guess there were a few differences.

My first car was a 1975 Plymouth Fury that was a hand me down for my 16th birthday. It was a good car and I wish I still had it now. There were a few quirks with the "new" seatbelt interlock system for 1975 and fuel gauge but it was a really comfortable and dependable car. I was in an accident (not my fault) and my parents forced me to get rid of the car instead of spending the money to fix it. The engine and transmission went into a car owned by my brother's friend.

@@jameshouse7862 Yes, I really liked that car. Good memories. The thing was quick, comfortable, and a tank. The accident which totaled it didn't even break a headlight because the frame and bumpers were so strong. I had one bruise on my shin.

My 3rd car but the first I picked out myself was a 76 Sport Fury. It had some of the add ons you mentioned. I remember the rubber on the rear bumper and the front bumper stops. It actually looked good IMO. The 318 was bulletproof, but if you live in a cold climate, the electronics was problematic. The Mopar plastic was a pain as you see it fades. Mine Fury was White with Red interior. Brought back a bunch of memories.

Back in the day when that car was new the passenger side mirror was a option u had to pay for lol the side molding than ran down each side was the protection kit option had to pay for lol. Now all the new cars today they all come with those things lol. I'd rather own a old car like that over anything on the road today i call ipads on wheels and they are all garbage. Nothing like a old land yachts solid metal & engines that run forever lol. I inherited a 1976 Chrysler New Yorker Brogham from a aunt with 20,636 original miles & still looks like the day she bought it original everything right down to the plastic on the seatbelt buckles. My favorite car ever

Looks like a Fury, not sport fury, hub caps are optional, dog dish caps standard. Nice survivor cars, thanks for showing us.

Would you send me a good quality scan of the build sheet? I' m searching blank ones for 1975 and can't find one. I found some small remains of my build sheet jammed under the springs of the front seat. I' d like to try to reproduce it as well as I can, with the few infos I get from the bits of mine and guessing the missing parts .
