1970s 4-door Mopar B-Body...car of choice for the Hollywood stunt sequence! (Stunt guys loved 'em - cheap, solid and powerful...they made them between 1971 and 1978, so you could make an older one look newer.)
Do you know if they had anything to do with the Ford / Chrysler / Vauxhall imports of the Australian full size lines? I am aware that these were brought into the UK as an alternative to Yank Tanks, they were branded; Fairmont, Valiant Regal and 'Chevrolet' (Holden), respectively. Very little is said about them these days and I am curious about how many went over there.
Yeah I like this review ^^ . I actually, right here in France haha, have a 1975 Fury 4 doors 225ci 3 speed manual ( original paint was silvercloud metallic, but a lon time ago some people did some rat mate black paint ) . I have one or two videos of it on my channel. I' m actually starting bodywork on it ^^ .
This was the "downsized" Fury which debuted for the 1975 model year. They split Fury into two models (the smaller Fury taking over for the Satellite "B" body and the still full sized Gran Fury). It was full sized (except for a "smaller" model 1962-1964) until the 1975 model and the Gran Fury then was the full sized model. It had Dodge and Chrysler equivalent models with different options. My parents had a 1965 Fury which was a great car. That model was also sold in Australia as a Dodge Phoenix. My parents bought a 1975 Plymouth but I did not like it as much as the old Fury we had. I was given the car when I got my license. It was a good dependable car with decent gas mileage. Unfortunately this generation was prone to rust on the rear fenders and paint fade. It also had mandatory seat belts in 1975 so the car would not start if the seat belt was not buckled. It also had a few other odd features which were phased out later. My car was totaled in serious accident which was not my fault. The engine, transmission, and myself were all fine after accident but my parents junked the car and I bought a Plymouth Horizon. The 1957 Fury had been quite a car and they were a top of the line before becoming regular models by 1960. My dad worked at a Plymouth dealer which sold Simca and Chrysler UK models (1000, 1100, and Avenger renamed Cricket)
The car was used mostly as a police and taxi vehicle in America during the 1970's and early 1980's. 1977 and 1978 models had stacked headlights. Most people in will remember these as patrol cars to be wrecked on shows such as the Dukes of Hazzard, the A- Team, Hunter, etc. Don't know how many of these were crashed in total on these shows. Obviously "Fury" engineering did not help, since most of the stunt drivers on the shows drove them like maniacs and ended up totalling them. Later, action/ stunt shows featured the 1980s box style Dodge Diplomat/ Plymouth Gran Fury which was produced between 1980 thru 1989.

If I recall, they mostly had used vehicles for sale, but was also a new car dealer, importing cars on one's behalf & rhd conversions too.
