- Z1 Motorsports VQ37VHR Intake Power Mod Kit consists of a stock intake plenum custom modified and a stock intake manifold that has been CNC ported using Z1's exclusive port profile to produce significant gains in horsepower and torque across the the entire powerband. This plenum fits all models with the VQ37VHR engine, including the 370Z & G37. This upgrade is easy to install, but requires the removal of the upper plenum and fuel rail / injectors and everything can be swapped out in around 2 hours.

In order to maximize the potential of the higher flowing Z1 modified VQ37 intake power kit, we recommend several other basic upgrades (all available here in the Z1 VQ37VHR 400HP Package) as well as custom tuning at Z1 Motorsports. It's best to have your car custom dyno tuned to safely maximize the potential of performance modifications and we at Z1 Motorsports tune more VQ37s with the Uprev Osiris software than anyone. However if having your car tuned at Z1 is simply not an option, based on our library of experience, we can provide a map well suited for your specific upgrades through our mail in flash service.
Upon removal of this manifold, new lower gaskets are required. New OEM Nissan HR / VHR gaskets can be purchased using the options below.
Torque Specifications for the lower plenum can be found HERE.
Included with this plenum is a set of new upper to lower plenum bolts. Use ONLY the supplied bolts with your plenum, using the incorrect bolts will result in damage that is not covered by Z1.
For your convenience we offer the option to ship a modified plenum first if you pay a refundable core charge. Upon the receipt of your core Z1 will inspect and credit you for the return. While these parts are usually in stock this service can be slightly delayed depending on our core inventory and order volume, if you have questions regarding lead times for these parts please give our parts team a call (770) 838-7777. If you return a core please pack it carefully. If we receive it in damaged condition, such as any broken plastic air inlet nipples, no credit will be given. View our core return form and policy
This item is currently produced per-order and not stocked. An average lead time of approximately 3-4 weeks should be expected once core is received.

Did I just watch yall put that lower intake mani on without the gaskets on the cyl heads? Then edited in yall doing it after 😂
that’s what happens when you do more talking then working
Mandela effect
Dyno this g and show us what power he just gained please!
Great video! I would love to see the z1 supercharger install, maybe in a video series.
Yesss that I wanna see
Awesome video Z1! I have both the upper and lower for my G37 coupe from you guys! Just an FYI to anyone else doing these, DO NOT reuse the OEM bolts to secure the upper plenum to the lower intake manifold. The OEM bolts are more than twice the length of the ones supplied with the kit and if you use them with the ported lower manifold you will bottom out and small chunks of aluminum will be sucked into your valves. Just learn from my mistake! All in all, great mod, highly recommend!
Yeah that part is in bold in their instructions... Sorry that happened to you - hopefully all is well now?!
I might just keep is simple and do the upper and call it a day... not going to be a high hp car, "just" 91 and that's that...even when I go supercharged it's going to be 91 as we move all over the country and we it seems like e85 or even 93 is limited... try asking people in a small town if there's e85 - they'll look at you like you're insane... beats big city living - and - the Z angers the hat wearing truck driving "merica maaaaaaaaaan" types in the mountains ;-)
@@07wrxtr1yeah I had read that on the website but forgot that info when doing the installation. The kit didn’t come with paper instructions and the hardware bag didn’t have any warnings either. I had one chunk of aluminum that got stuck in the intake valve when it was closing. Got it out and all good.
@@07wrxtr1haha, I know what you mean. I had a fella in a rusted Astrovan yell out Japanese piece of ____ in a parking lot at me.
Make sure to cover the top of the lower manifold with tape while you're working so you don't drop a bolt into your engine.
Exactly what I was gonna say or at least cover it with an old shirt or rag
Perfect timing, doing my upper manifold this Sunday. Cheers 🙏🏼
What is the purpose on the performance/longevity of the car?
Nice 👍🏽 Next time do a video on spark plug and ignition coil installation.
Would like to see the process of porting the parts etc .. too see how much exactly is taking off
an install video on the 350z Upgraded Urethane Motor Mounts
Ignition coils and spark plugs
Will this work on a VQ40DE motor for my 2013 Nissan Xterra PRO-4X V6 4WD with a 6spd?
Wonder if i can just port it out myself with a dremil
What happens if you do dump out the fuel from the fuel rail?
Probably a dumb question, but do you do anything similar for an A60 Titan? What kind of gains does this upgrade provide?
Question for me is can you put these on if your stock or you need a tune right after
I don't think you need a tune but you'll want a tune
Do y'all make this for the G35? VQ35DE?
Pretty sure they do
Why the lower intake manifold looks dirty, it’s full of charcoal, something is wrong, it shouldn’t be wet
pcv system
@@RzVids valve pcv?
Automatics are faster little does he know🤣🤣 dude stuck in the 70s/80s🤣
Standards are just more fun and better for drifting, which is what most people want to do with these.
