Something else that’s unique in super Mario 64, after yoshi gives you all those lives it changes your triple jump to where you can’t take fall damage

@@alface935 It's way less cool than it sounds. It only negates fall damage if you use a triple jump. Otherwise, you still take the damage. And while triple jumps are pretty good, since you've 100% the game, there's not much point to having this one, especially as it doesn't make exploring much easier or better

The Mario 64 DS one makes sense as to why Yoshi isn't on the roof, he's simply the character you start as
Yeah Playing As Yoshi Is Way More Cool Then Just Have In The Castle Then Jump Off To His Death
It would have been nice if somebody replaced him up there. Even a generic Toad would've been better than making it devoid of anybody. :(

Galaxy 2 is definetly more difficult than the first one, but I prefer the first. It’s my favorite game of all time. But galaxy 2 is still good

I never realized you could go to the Star Festival in Mario Galaxy. Hearing that Wii Homescreen music certainly brings back a lot of memories.
Sunshine has by far the worst completion reward
It makes you feel like every Blue Coin you've collected isn't worth it,and it's just.....wow
Still better than Sticker Star's rewards though......
Now ur telling lies and it aint even that difficult in sticker star in super mario Sunshine its much more difficult so sticker star still has the better end reward

I think most people agree Bowser’s Fury is an amazing addition to the already great 3D World, combined with the improvements to the base hame
Fun fact in the ending of 64: since yoshi gives you all of those lives he jumps in the river killing him self to give you his life

Getting 5 stars in NSMBW also makes the mushroom houses able to be used indefinitely. This can give you unlimited powerups and lives

I remember being very scared for a moment in SMG2 after making the final launch star appear in The Perfect Run. I thought there was one more section to survive through that you couldn’t even practice with more than 1 heart.

Super Mario Galaxy felt the most worth it to me. Felt like I unlocked a whole new game!
Not a big fan of Luigi physics in the 3D Mario games, it’s cool to be able to play as him but Galaxy Rewards always felt like kind of a letdown because of it. I think he’s best when he is a playable character from the start or partway through or something so that the devs can build levels that more utilize his unique movement
Yeah it was a lazy reward tbh since the game wasn't even changed at all and you just play as a different character with different physics but at least it gave me an excuse to play through the whole game again a couple of years later.
if i’m not mistaken, Super Mario 3D World tracks your deaths. I managed to beat it 5 stars deathless and the stars sparkle. i love that game so much

Imagine completing 100% super Mario sunshine after the last day of school
In the original smb the 100% reward is hard mode. In lost levels the reward is world 9 and A-D. In smb3 it’s a stock of p-wings
Today I learned SMB3 has a reward for 100%

Super Mario World (SNES) has the 96 sources completed on the menu screen. That is still a reward even if it is a pretty small one.

In Super Mario 64 and 64 DS the penguin at the slide will become fat once you get all 120/150 stars. He'll tell you that he's out of shape but still up for a race and this time he's even harder since he takes up most of the space

@@fausthanos08 nope, definitely on both. Fun fact, in some Super Mario 64 Rom hacks the creators forget about this and as a result the penguin gets too big and falls off the stage (for example in Super Mario Star Road)

I just recently 100% Bowser’s Fury! Idk what to do now but I will try out some glitches or just plain out restart
"Beat" Bowser..if anyone had ever actually beaten him then he wouldn't keep coming back; bout time people realize that trying to beat him with violence is only going to cause more problems, and that he's far more than just a scary face
I like how this uses Mario Advance 2 instead of the better game which doesn't force 100% completion.
Wow, some of those completion rewards are really lackluster. Glad I didn't bother with 3D World.
Doing all that stuff should let you play as other characters like Yoshi and Daisy
