I usually take the bottom plate off of my lamp and put it in the edge of the table and cure it that way. Helps with the extra hand problem.

Yes I had exactly same struggle to do it on myself. I put my lamp to the edge of the table, presses the minute light and then applies the tip and when under the lamp to cure it.
I found a iPhone clamp on Amazon that was small enough to hold a led flashlight, so now I turn it on before I start applying the nails and just put my nail under once I’ve applied the nail. Saves so much time!
tmcdgreen I used to prop my light with a book and angle it out. I’m surprised so many people didn’t think to rig the light up in some way so they have both hands available. It’s a simple fix. I just bought a lamp with a removable bottom and sensors that turn on when you put your hand under and I turn it on it’s side and that works even better!

I know the C-Curve is good but I always feel like the barrel of the nails are so thin! I've heard good things but I'm still not sold completely - I love good old sculpting, for me, they've taken away the fun of building your own nails :D Glad you did a video on it I was very curious!

I’m 12 learning nail art lol and this video is so realistic and satisfying!! I wanted to buy one of these kits but I did it realise it was soo expensive!!! Oh well this videos entertaining cx
i’m 12 too and i’m learning how to do acrylic and other nails. if you want nails like this just buy this tips on aliexpress. they are the same. then buy some clear gel ( it doesn’t have to be in the bottle). oh and you must have electric file to file that nail tip so you can have them on for longer time. it’s not that expensive and it’s the same quality.👍🏻🙃❤️
There’s a cheaper kit on amazon that a dupe but without the prep and primer

There is a lamp that you can attach to your table that hangs like a light, and has a foot control to turn it off and on which helps a lot. Another thing I saw on Apres is they tape the light on the box by the cord, overhanging very easy . Also you can use primer to prep the under side, much easier. Good job though.
So I got a system like this, the only thing I didn't do was file the nail and all my nails fell off before 24 hours. What did I do wrong? I'm so sad

Do you know if they’re thin like press on nails or a nice sturdy nail? When ever I use press ins and I scratch things like my face and clothes
@@kaeshalae1 they are not as thin as press on nails. They are very natural looking though and not sharp at all.

I like the pot extend gel because I can use all product when it’s in a bottle you don’t get it all
Use a regular lamp with a detachable bottom and a ir movement sensor. I turn the lamp on it’s side. I love the Apres Gel-x system. So easy and I get lots of compliments.

I love this system! The nails last for about three weeks. The only thing is the nails are hard to place when you're doing them alone...i always need help curing them. I finally bought some clear nail clamps so hopefully they'll help. Tfs! ☺️

do you have flat nail beds? because i do and i want to get the sculpted tips because of their beautiful apex but i‘m afraid they won‘t fit or feel comfortable. what do you recommend?
They are great, just wondering if the tips can break / take off from the gel on the finger? Are they as strong as acryl nails or do they break easy?
IG: iam_ DREA_boo I had this and didn’t have the tips break, but after around 2-3 weeks they started to pop off
From other videos I have watched they went in at a 45 degree angle and used the light like a flashlight. Thanks for sharing!

I have so many questions lol. Do I have to buy the kit?? And can I use my hard gel for the nails?? And the UV lite can I use my UV lite? And the tips is regular clear tips as in full clear tips any kind? And the base coat can I use my base coat??

if it helps anyone, i put my mini lamp from the kit onto its side and hold the nail up to it to cure it just enough for it to stick, and then i do a second full cure when i don't have to hold it anymore

You can get clips to hold the tip on while you cure it.

i got this myself and have tried it on myself (very difficult but obviously have to get the hang of it) second time did it on a friend. Alot more simple but exactly how i felt is how my friend felt. They seem so weak. I dont know what i could be doing wrong? i honestly couldnt do a thing becuz they were so flimsy
