Absolutely beautiful..gorgeous nude gel..my fave..I would have to leave them like that couldn’t bear to paint over such a beautiful nude! 🥰
I'm a nail tech and the STUNNING shape of your nails caught my eyes as I was scrolling videos. I watched the video twice and 3 times in parts lol but one thing I noticed is you don't actually create an apex, with an "apex bead" BUT you certainly have a beautiful apex when the nails are done lol. I'm not sure if your natural nails have a good apex to start with (and omg your nail beds are so nice)
So I watched your 2nd and third layer application and I noticed 2 things that you may not realize you do; when you put the 2nd layer of gel you sort of pull the majority of your bed close to the stress point and thin it out as you "paint" and on the third layer your application of product gets less and less as you move to the tip but the most is again left before the stress point which essentially creates the apex. Both of those things are definitely helping to create that beautiful apex.
I just wanted to mention this for people struggling with flat nails, and I myself and going to give your way a try too. My finished nails look great but its thanks to my filing and I think your way can reduce about 50 percent of my filing, thanks for the video

I get your point, when I watched how she created her apex.. I thought that next time I do my nails I will give this way a try. The lady was, granted in a little long winded approach saying that she creates her apex differently, complimented her on the end result and said she will give it a try also. She was not being negative.

iv just bought this system but if i was going to file gel then add another layer of gel would i need a protein bond aswel or can i use the rubber base again?

Polly Camilleri depends on length of nails wanted and nail art etc and lots of varied factors anywhere from 1:15 - 2:15 xx

Hey, im a nail tech too but I learned at school that your natural nail has to be really short to be extended with gel! Why haven't you totally filed it ?
because you learned wrong lol. gel is a great way to protect the natural nail in order to promote growth.
Why did this take me 8 hours? 😭
With the forms most of my nails came out more pointy, only two came out square-ish.
After all filing, none of my nails are the same shape. Lol! I tried so hard. I suck.

I dont see anything wrong with fake nails, acrylic, powders, and gels. Desighns and all that look beauty but sometimes in theses videos and other video I have seen. Are too much acrylic and too much gels, make nails look so fake

This is the only PERFECT COFFIN NAIL SHAPE I've seen on TH-cam. I dunno why everyone has the struggle to do it right.
I agree the side profile with that incredible apex is the best I've seen, most coffins from the side look like the free edges have been hacked slightly (its hard to explain but her free edges almost follow out from her natural sidewalls straight) they are beautiful
You shouldn’t say that. It’s multiple reasons people may struggle. It’s hard for some & easy for others. 🤷🏽♀️
Everyone has their own style. There’s no reason to put anyone down to give someone else a compliment. These are perfect and in their own category among many of perfect nails.
What lamp do you use? I’m using a 48W UV/LED and I’ve gotten great results with it… Especially compared to the crappy 36W lamp I got with a “Starter kit.”
Hi ! I always come back to this video as a review of hard gel application. ❤ Would you possibly ever do a detailed demonstration of how to properly apply a nail form? I find it hard to find a video that shows with adequate camera angles so I can actually see what people are talking about 😢
The shape is lovely...clicked on this to see you shape them...as lovely as they are, no filing info was really given. It is an area I am working on and watching other nail techs do their craft is helpful. Will keep looking. Thank you for the video.
I just subscribed and started watching your videos. This set is beautifully done. You got a an amazing C Curve without using any Pinchers or pinching tool, I really love the way you manually shaped your nails with a nail file. I need so much practice in nail shape filing. Thanks for sharing !

I do my own nails at home and they always pop off my nails! I use the Ibd hard gel and the ibd bonder before. I’m not sure why they always do this but after a ew days without fail they always come off. Any advice? Thanks!

@@bayareababe it removes the shine off the nail and all the dead skin around your cuticle can cause the nails to lift

If it’s sculpted gel, do they crack easily especially around the edges?
I build my nails similar to this method and have never had any issues with cracking anywhere.

Can you use GEL BOTTLE BIAB bottles to do this?
Yes but you need a sculpt gel layer underneath first, because you can't mee the nails longer with bottle builder (only 2mm)
Are the gel bottle inc products only for nail techs with licenses and certificates?😩😩 I would love to purchase these products but I’am self taught

Best tutorial I have seen . I love to do my own nails and basically learned how to do builder gel off of TH-cam . I chose builder gel over acrylic because I hate the smell of acrylic and I have pets who are always around me lol , so didn’t want them inhaling those fumes . This color is so pretty and I will definitely be picking this up as soon as possible . Thank you for sharing !

Do you dip the brush in monomer or you use it dry??
And did you dry them in UV before or not?
You only use Monomer with acrylic. This product is Gel.
