Nice attempt, but for a beginner watching this, its devastating knowledge to learn as you are breaking every rule when it comes to perspective design. Even with the built in guide in illustrator are you making fundamental errors and over complicating things.

the contrary is true, you should maybe revisit the perspective grid tool to understand the tutorial.
