  • In This video Tutorial, I will provide an overview of the Perspective Tool and Grid in Illustrator CC. This tool was a new feature of Illustrator CS5 and makes it easy for us to create vector illustrations using 1pt, 2pt and/or 3pt perspective. This tool is great for drawing architectural exterior and interior illustrations.

    Once the building is finished, duplicating it won’t make them follow the perspective correctly. Unless you are using isometric angle grid. That’s why they look weird.

    Aren't you supposed to use the perspective tool when moving the buildings you copied to get them in perspective?

    • @LucasFGodoy
      @LucasFGodoy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      He shouldn’t! Perspective grids are supposed to be used only with plane forms, not 3D.

      @@LucasFGodoy how do you deal with the OCD when the buildings aren't in perspective? And there are no 3d objects in this video its just objects in perspective, if you disregard the houses, they sure are not!

      @@jensjansson1993 using isomeric grid! The only way I can think he could do what he did with no issues

      @@LucasFGodoy yeah as stated before, Aren't you supposed to use the perspective tool when moving the buildings you copied to get them in perspective?

      @@jensjansson1993 I see your point, I thought you were being sarcastic with your first comment. It should work as you said by logic, but it seems that illustrator loose the flat shape information when the item is grouped and duplicated. And he starts to put in perspective a shape already transformed. The guy on the video seems to fail to realise the perspective got all wrong in this specific process. Again, this problem wouldn’t happen in isometric angle grid, or if he did not duplicate the whole building that way, but in parts, site by side.
