omg, @tutvid already had used this same photo in photoshop!! and what a hack, I put an airplane too. :D haha, I apologize, I did not know that. anyway, this is in Illustrator so it should be okay. ♦ Learn the Artboard trick I've used in this video: th-cam.com/video/8tEdMVT76uU/w-d-xo.html ♦ Building Image for Practice wp.me/p9uLDg-kQ
OMG seriously 😱 I always get annoyed whenever I accidentally click perspective grid. I don't have any idea what's the use of it and I'm totally blown away how it incredibly works. Thank you for this! 👏😍 As always~
I'd never used the perspective tool and always wondered what the potentials of the perspective tool were. Thanks a lot for introducing the tool in a good tutorial.
man thank you you are amazing! I've been watching illustrator tutorials a lot and yours are def the best. You give amazing tricks and theoretical insights, that most youtubers never mention
Awesome tutorial! Since I am a beginning in Adobe Illustrator, it would be beneficial to me to better understand how you made the shadows and applied colors to the perspective objects. Is there a video for this graphic?
Hey Hardik, it's pretty cool how you've used some motion graphics to explain where the vanishing point is :) Thanks for the videos, always super helpful! ✌️
You should only move the Full grid once. Then Lock it down till the end. What I was moving in the video was Only "Grid Plane". That way you will have the Grid as the guides & Vanishing Point & Horizon will be locked. And yes, Sliding the grid plane doesn't affect already drawn object or even any object you draw later. Because that grid plane is just reference of perspective at Perticular angle. Did you get what I'm trying to say? Try drawing on right side without sliding left grid towards right. You will still be able to draw.
Hi, I wanted to ask you a thing related to Illustrator. I'm planning to design a deck of cards and each card is a group of elements. How do I align them on a 8x7 grid? Do I have to do it manually?
Illustrator doesn't give an option to "Align to Grid" by just clicking. But you can do with artboards instead of a grid. Create an artboard of 8x7. then with the artboard tool, duplicate it by holding alt/opt and drag. Now place your card group each in an artboard then Align to Artboard from Align Panel. :)
Yes, group all the windows in to one. Right Click > Transform / Reflect > Choose your angle then Click on "COPY". then move it with Shift + Arrow keys or by Dragging with Shift.

Can i draw lines on it and auto align to it?
Thank you! Have a question: when you move the perspective grid, the other rectangles that you already draw don’t change?
You should only move the Full grid once. Then Lock it down till the end. What I was moving in the video was Only "Grid Plane". and yes, If you just turn on "Snap to Grid" then no need for artboards hassle. You can define grid size from Preference Panel (Ctrl+ K).
Thanks a lot! You're the best!
