It literally came out last year and it's their top tier phone of 2023; if it wasn't still worth it one year later they'd deserve to shut everything down 😂
Obviously these titles are to attract attention and curiosity.. it is obvious that even in 1 or 2 years it will still be a beast 😊

@nasarkhan113 do you think it will still be a beast until 2030? I have my doubts, now it's still as if it had been released yesterday, but in 4/5 years it will already be obsolete in my opinion. for me a phone is obsolete after 6 years, it has already given everything it could give
@@XxSenpaiixX I think it will especially for average users, it will obviously need a battery change at some point but the chip is too good, its the apps that are not optimised enough to use the full power of this year and last year chips. Even the camera software quality is not using the full potential of the camera hardware. Unless there is next generation batteries, 8k screens or dlsr quality cameras there really is no need to upgrade for many years
@@XxSenpaiixX Consider that some people still use the iphone 5/6, or the note 9, to this day. Even if it will become obsolete, it will still be usable for most users. The only limitation is the battery life, that's how these companies scam people into buying new tech unfortunately

My S23 Ultra held up alright... The performance is still blazing fast, and the cameras are still amazing. My battery took a hit big time. My phone gets noticeably warm occasionally, and that's on light usage. When my phone gets warm, the battery will drain -1% every 2 minutes. My battery will go from 88% to 79% in a matter of 15 minutes.
even the S21 series is still blazing fast with one UI 6.1
S24u s23u both got battery issues after April update, I hope the June update fixes it because it can be fixed.. before the update battery was waayyy better like at least 7 hous and above even 11 hours for some users

My battery is better now after the may update.
The problem I have now is the charging time. It's too slow. It is now taking 1 hour and 45 minutes to charge from 0% to 10%
I hope this will get fixed with the June update
This is because of the OneUI 6.1 update. After I reverted to OneUI 6 on my S23U everything went back to normal. I'll just wait until android 15 and update.

@fevad1246 S24ultra suffers from the grainy display issue or mura effect available in the low brightness in dark mode that has not been fixed with the latest software updates even indicating a hardware issue.

my samsung album and video app froze today. when i tapped it the app turns black screen and video app showed video folders with question mark. but when swipe notif down it would still work.so the album app is the only app froze. this is the first time i had issues on my s23u. anyone had these issues?

Great content. Question : were did you get your home screen wallpapers from. I still have my s23 ultra. It's still a beast. If the s25 ultra doesn't knock my socks off, I'm keeping my s23 ultra.
Even after seeing the unpacked event the only thing I am upgrading is my Watch Classic 4 to an Ultra Watch but my Unlocked 1TB S23 Ultra is still one of my all time favorite phones. I got it just after the 4 months of the S23 Ultra being released and only because my S22Ultra was dropped and the whole phone had to be replaced and to my luck they went ahead and gave me the 23Ultra brand new in a box and unlocked cause they had no unlocked models!

My s 23u now takes about two hours to change from 0 to 100%.
This started after the one UI 6.1 updat. Everything else is superb
nah, even I turn off the fast charging PPS 2.0, it only takes around 1h50 to fully charging (I do have 5A cable and 45W charger)
You can get the S24 line for the prices of the S23 refurbished on Amazon and Best Buy. Oof.

🥔 gang, Great video as always zach! Im still rockin my S23U and its for sure one of the best devices I've owned. Love everthing about it and its performance has held up incredibly well. I decided to skip the S24U since it didnt really offer too many upgrades overall, just AI stuff, which the S23U got in a software update later anways. Im probably gonna wait and see if there is any noticeable hardware upgrades in the S25U or S26U to consider upgrading, but I think the S23U will hold up for a while. Also, as a fellow dallas native, how bout them mavs baby.

Sd8gen2 is all I need. The stability of the 23u beats the 24u in stress tests, gen2 just does things better than gen3 even if it’s not as powerful.

Yes, I believe it is worthwhile. I also cracked my screen, and they replaced it for me with a new, genuine one. I received it in like-new condition.

@wheely4405 meh the only part in camera is video recording which goes to iPhone. Pictures are far better voted by ppl in blind test(not knowing which device are the pics from) they all say some specific phone that turns out to be google pixel then 2nd or 3rd place samsung but iPhone? Lol not even in the last 10 positions
@fevad1246 I agree , if we compare s23u to 14 pro , but I think 15pro beats s23u, the dynamic range is really good on the 15pro at least on wide lens and it gives some good contrast while Samsung tends to brighten the shadows a lot sometimes wich does bring up more detail but it also makes the picture look hazy , but on the iphone u can edit the pic afterwards and make the shadows more bright if u want so I think 15 pro takes it.. 5x is also lot more usable while 10x doesn't have that clarity.. it's only 10mp with small aperture and at night it performs worse than apples digital 10x from 5x lens..
S24u does beat the iphone 15 pm in photography tho , because they reduced a lot that hazy look of wide lens and added both 5x optical and 10x but really well optimised and u also get that 3x wich is very low quality if the lighting isn't really good. But still it has many use cases u can use it all you want in daylight. The wide shots on s24u on daylight are just very well balanced in my opinion, iphone kinda makes the sky very white blue kind of color..
Anyway that's a big azz reply without much proof so it's pointless and Ill stop it here 😂 even tho I could explain further

I just found one for 299 😂 in a thrift shop. The joy is not even managable
I had the S24 Ultra and had to get rid of it. Hurt my hands and was the most uncomfortable phone I have ever used. I can see if you are tall and have big hands, but I am a shorter guy and my hands are smaller. Definitely not for me. Wish they put effort into their smaller phones like apple. Make a 6.5 ultra like device or 6.4” one. They could make it work.

Bet u never even had an ultra, put 3 fingers on the back of the phone your pinky underneath and thumb on the screen and boom the corners just don't touch your hand , how do you get the corners to dig in your hands I don't understand it , also there's on hand operation + on Good lock why don't u give it a try for 2 - 3 weeks and try getting a muscle memory to it , personally I use it and I love it it makes many things faster , I would still use it even if the phone was tiny it just makes things faster

This phone for me is still amazing I have the 512gb +12gb ram my wife has a 24 ultra I still prefer s23 ultra battery use is basically identical same for the camera same for the speed some cases you can even find a 23 ultra camera is better also some people don't like the curve on the screen but this is a very minimal curve excellent for viewing videos and content and one of the best cases you can get is the Spigen Optik Armor because it covers also the side edges so it really doesn't even feel like the phone has curved edges I would definitely recommend this phone to anybody a long battery life amazing camera and Video excellent viewing angles still one of the best phones you can get hands down
