I did too! went from note 9 to galaxy s24 ultra love it! but having a problem getting a full screen when watching my directtv app and streaming. Do any one have suggestions are you experiencing the same thing? Also it was in full screen when I bought it only a month old😢

@vanessamorrison6743 have you tried to pinch zoom in ? or sometimes its a but that the app needs to send out an update to fix
I was going to buy s23 Ultra last month because it is so similar and looks more premium with the curved screen. It is also better for gesture navigation. And 10x zoom.
But I ended up buying S24 Ultra because I was getting a deal, where it would only be around $180 more expensive. But overall, I liked it. The 5x zoom is now my favourite for portraits.
Also love the idea of 7 years updates. My last phone was Poco F1, and I used it for over 5 years and only reason I upgraded was because it fell in a waterfall, then repaired and then performance degraded in few months to the point was it was randomly turning off. And then I cracked the screen in a fall...
Phones have hit its peak, so, I think it is good idea to buy the best available, as not much updates are expected in near future. Just look at how similar S21U to S24U was.
We need better battery tech, and maybe better speakers

Thank you for this! I’m an iPhone user, but I usually have a hand me down Samsung on stand by. I want to finally move on from what I have now, and I wanted the S23 instead of the S24 because it’s cheaper. Now I know they both basically have the same functionality.

Here's how I see upgrading at the moment, S23 users don't upgrade waste of money, S22 series users don't upgrade it's not quite time yet, S21 series users only upgrade if you want to or your battery sucks, S20 or older upgrade
The battery life sucked on the S22U though.

Solid video, with a clear explanation about each phone. The S24 Ultra does a few more of its AI work on the phone, rather than in the cloud, but you are right that they are both able to do much the same stuff.

I'm thinking about upgrading from S23 Ultra to S24U but on hearing about the major improvements of the S25U, it's clear I need to just wait and enjoy my S24U.
Just upgraded from the iphone 13 pro max and its a big jump for me and im loving the s24 ultra plus at&t gave me 1k off with my trade in so it was a deal for me.

Battery life for me coming from the S23U has been night and day. I have yet to kill the S24U in a day with the same usage pattern
I only have one question.
If im only paying 100 bucks to replace a broken s23 U with a S24 U (titanium grey), is it worth it? Like its not worse than S23 is it? Its almost like a free upgrade (since I'd pay the same to replace it with s23U).
I loved my S23ultra. However (and I still have no idea how), my screen and LCD got cracked straight in the fingerprint censor like a bullet hit it. I don't even know what happened, I just picked it and it was done. Only thing I can think of is some bizarre physics occurrence from my screen protector (glass) beginning to peel off and somehow that adhesive becoming uneven caused it to implode toward the center. IDK. Anyways Verizon replacing it with s24U for free (meaning upgrade is free not the deductible).
It sort of sucks there weren't any real meaningful upgrades between the two. But if the S24U is at least marginally better, its probably worth the 7 years of upgrades right?
For $100 the upgrade is absolutely worth it!!
Hello, Naseem have you had problems getting a full screen on the galaxy ultra s24 when watching tv and streaming. I'm getting half screen so are others. Have tried everything. Do you Any suggestions thanks.

Also Iam bit still confused now using S20Fe from past 3years looking to upgrade now within a month or so plz do suggest which one to go for S23 Ultra or S24 Ultra...S23 Ultra is bit cheap in price now and in my budget i can go for 512gb and also i like its form factor, curved screen, but if its worth I can stretch a bit my budget for S24Ultra too but then i will have to go for 256 that comes in my budget. I would be using till next 4years max. So do let me know guys your thoughts too so that I can finalize on one from these.❤❤

I only traded in my S23 Ultra because of that Super HDR in the gallery settings of the S24 Ultra. It brings pictures to live and when you see it you can't undo it. I don't know if that feature later came to the S23 Ultra.

I agree with the display design. I'm also 50/50 because flat displays really are more durable and reliable. BUT the subtle curves on the S23 Ultra make it look more premium/luxurious, and the viewing experience is very immersive!

I had to return the s23 ultra a while back because of the pwm. It was giving me headaches. I have heard they have fixed it on the s24 ultra so im going to give it a try.

@@thinkofdennis164 it's pulse with modulation. The flicker rate of the screen. Some people like me are sensitive to it. Makes me sick with a headache.
Yes for me also s23 ultra has been awful. But on s24 ultra I don't have anymore problems with pwm.
on s24 its 480hz, s23 only 240, so you would be fine

Yea see I went from a Samsung s23 cause I figured the iPhone would be faster in processor from my job and yes I like some things but I’m going back to android but I will say don’t let the newer stuff get you. I always do research and I never go for the newest phone like when I did try iPhone I searched and the iPhone 14 Plus was better than the 15 as they just came out and it had a cheaper price so but that being said I still like Samsung over Apple sorry but in this since I’m going back to Samsung and the I choose will be the last one for a while I have to make it worth it lol. I’m leaning toward the 24 ultra but who knows !?

My s23ultra is brighter than my s24ultra in a normal setting. Also the volume is louder kn the s23ultra
I just upgraded to the 24 ultra few days ago from the 15 pro max. Made me regret switching to the iPhone for 2 months lol
S22 ultra just got most of the AI and battery life just got better, so no need to upgrade for me atleast for me.
I didn't upgrade to S24 ultra from the S23 ultra because of the telephoto downgrade

Swapped my S23 Ultra for the OnePlus 12, loving it so far. But don't get it twisted, the S23 Ultra is still a beast, but I got tired of the bugs .
U can't compare the s23 to the s24 the s24 is totally different with the AI the cameras are the only thing that's the same

They're far too close in specs and performance to upgrade from the 23. I think the 25 will be the year I upgrade from the 23.

The only complaint I have is that the glass is a bit softer than previous generations, more easily scratched, but less likely to break
