    I agree with you that Samsung needs to work on capturing moving objects. This is my major issue shooting with my S23 Ultra.

    With my S23 Ultra, I prefer shooting with the pro video mode to its normal video. I think its quality is way better and controlled. Once you understand how to use pro video, trust me, you'll appreciate the S23 Ultra's camera capabilities more.

    I'm sad I didn't wait for the S23 Ultra and picked the S22 Ultra. I'm looking forward to get the S24 Ultra that will be even more amazing with the upgraded Zoom lenses cuz the current ones have a very bad low light performance due to the small sensor size.

    After much consideration, needing a new phone I opted for the S23 Ultra over the S24 Ultra for 2 main reasons. Firstly, they ditched the 10x optical zoom for a 5 and the Raw files on the S24 are tiny. These are backward steps in my opinion. I simply can't wait to get to grips and learn how to shoot with it properly. Yes your right, its a genuine thing of beauty and the build quality, exceptional.

    It's such a shame you can't turn off over-processing on 12mpxl photos. I do prefer how 50 or 200 photos look like but hate the file size. I'm assuming Samsung's default photo snap is when you release the finger from the snap button because if you click and hold, you'll start recording

    • @PhazonBlaxor
      @PhazonBlaxor 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@theo7617 No? Ok, I've tested this on S23U myself and compared the results in photoshop. 50mp mode had the same amount of details as 200mp for indoor shots. 12mp vs 50mp there was a difference, but as far as effective resolution is concerned I'd say downscaling to 20mp-30mp from the 50mp shot seemed to be the limit of detail in my test.
      So what I'm saying is that the effective resolution for my indoor tests came out at around 20mp to 30mp - which mind you, is great for a sensor of this size. It can rival and sometimes even exceed my Sony A7 in details, even though old, it's a fricking full frame mirrorless camera.

      @@theo7617 Did you even read what I said? 50mp vs 200mp = no difference indoors on S23U. All you are doing is increasing file size for no reason. Outdoors and in well lit indoor scenarios this is probably more meaningful though, I've yet to test this myself.
      It's too bad the other sensors are limited to 12mp, because I usually end up just using that mode regardless to get the full zoom range.

    S23U is the worst phone for mobile photography ever created, they sell it as a device to take photographs at a professional level and the quality of its Expert Raw files is terrible, the software is so invasive that it adds horrible sharpness by converting the "dng" file In garbage, the JPG output quality is the worst on the market, sharp, sharp, saturated, they put tools to correct that but it is not enough, 200mp is pure marketing, the photos taken in 200mp are softer but when you start to zoom in on the photograph To see details everything is transformed into watercolor, a painter's sketch, you can't even shoot Raw at full resolution given the number of useless megapixels in such a small sensor, it is by far the worst phone that someone could choose for mobile photography.

    • @soulking6868
      @soulking6868 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In my opinion you exaggerated a bit, but basically I agree with you... I owned the S23 Ultra for about 8 months, it has an incredible zoom, but it all ends there... Even if you look at the files on a large screen at high resolution, the the situation gets even worse... Poor quality of Expert Raw, and jpg files that are too saturated and with too much sharpness, a night mode that is often not up to par... As an Android device, apart from the camera, it remains one of the best on the market, even if loses value incredibly quickly…

      @@soulking6868 The truth is that I try each new update to see if it improves but unfortunately NO, that absurd sharp sharpness that they print in a file that would supposedly be used to work in post production (Expert raw) is impossible to remove, it is unfortunate that a top-of-the-range phone and with those capabilities it has such poor photographic quality, the only way out is to install a gcam port to be able to obtain decent (natural) photos and a natural raw file without heavy post processing, I hope S24 U improves these flaws, I also don't understand why they continue to use a sensor massive 200mp, asking to use a 50mp one of much better quality and with pixels double the size, asking to offer a raw file at maximum resolution without having to go through binning as it currently does
