    His Holiness is a genuinely kind human being. I have more love for him than I have for most other people on this earth. I was at this event and it was truely amazing. His Holiness has nothing to offer but wisdom and love, and he gives it all to us, every one of us, without exception. I admire him endlessly, he's 76 years old and he continues to work his hardest for world peace. We could all use to be a little bit more like him. Long live His Holiness.

    The way His Holiness answered the boy at the end was totally heartfelt and brilliant. You could feel his empathy for a young 'revolutionary' spirit. I think he saw himself in that boy. What a great soul!

    Considering his difficulty with the English language, it's amazing how many people come to listen to his talks from all parts of America and even outside America. Shows just how things like love, compassion, and the desire to improve humanity can transcend lingual and cultural barriers.

    How lucky are we Tibetans to have such an amazing leader who connects us all as Tibetans, makes us feel proud to be a Tibetan, and also receive help and special friendliness from people all over the world just because they know of his existence, love and compassion. Long Live His Holiness The Dalai Lama. Thank you for making my life better and happier. Thank You

    It's a shame this video only has about 70000 views as a rough estimate. It would be nice if everyone made this their number priority. The world would be a much better place if people made world peace their number one priority. This video needs about 7 billion views.

    I'm so lucky that I've a spiritual leader like him. I always think if there are ten more being like him the world is a better world to live. No arms,no border disputes, no white, no black, no religious fundamentalism - only one world. It would be a heaven.
    His holiness is as transparent as a glass, what he is outside is also inside.

    Thank You, Your Holiness & all the backstage people for sharing with us. Life paradoxon is in action: those who have the power to take steps towards world peace seems not to care about at all, those who would give even their own life for world peace, have nearly no keys in hands to make "fertile" changes....but in the end all we have to try our best. Hope that Selflessness Brother & Creativity Sister will support us all.......

    Thank you Dalai Lama, you are a man of great warmheartedness, wisdom and understanding. I don't care for formalities either. Peace really does begin with the individual- that is where the change begins- how we think and act is a reflection of our inner self.

    Change in the world comes from within.... So happy that Dalai Lama works so hard to send this message out all over the world. Amazing person! :-) We are lucky to live in these times, to learn from such inspiring individual! He provides us all with the opportunity to grow beyond ourselves.....if we make the effort. Think of the generations before us, that weren't so lucky to hear such things from such a wonderful person. The burden is on us now, to do something with this now; eh? :-)

    World peace is a dream. You are never going to harmonize and placate billions of people to the point where we can all adhere to a single idea. We all have different values, traditions, opinions and cultures, and there's absolutely no way you're gonna get people to abandon these. The aforementioned will forever keep us divided and war-like. You can attain inner peace within your own reality, but transferring this to a global scale will never happen. Sad, but true.

    A Single Spark of Courage can Ignite the Fires of Hope ad restore PEACE! I stand with a sign to Demand Peace in Woodbridge VA every day pending weather. I have much inner peace through Wisdom. Stand with me for Peace where ever you are. Make a Sign and hold it on the side of a major road, remember, do not step into traffic, swing your sign into traffic, dance, play music, just hold the sign and look into the eyes of the people that pass you as they drive by. choose a place close to a stop light so traffic is moving slower.
    Peace in wisdom

    Two thumbs up my friend of peace! I am all about peace on the global level. The sad thing is every time you talk about an event that the world must come as a whole people start screaming new world order as if it's a bad thing. I am pushing for a universal law for humanity called protecting man/woman ability to choose as absolute (universal) freedom on a global. It all starts with education because people do not even know what peace means.

    may all the women, children, and animals in the world be healed! may all the males, all the men finally be gentle and kind to all living things! Mother Earth needs healing! Free all the oppressed women all over the world from the bondage of partriarchal society! Let all the men love and adore their women for being the precious creators of life that they are! May all read the book Restoring Your Goddess by Barbara G Walker. It will explain how our society needs to change. So many women are hurting at the hands of abusive men, heal these women. Let all the men finally get rid of all their greed and need for power, and chose instead to love all of life and respect and love their women!

    @MultiAlpha111 Also, since the Dalai Lama is the rebirth of the bodhisatva of compassion, Avalokiteśvara, who embodies the compassion of all Buddhas, NONE OF WHOM ARE GODS, he's just like everyone else, reborn from a soul who's lived before. His soul is just special. Buddhism doesn't have a god, Buddhas are all people. Buddha means "the enlightened one," which means, if you work VERY HARD at abandoning your closed-mindedness and lack of compassion, you could concievably become a Buddha.

    I personally am all for world peace, but it is not possible the way things are. I could go on and on about everything but I have a simple example as to why it is impossible. Shopping carts. Who puts the Shopping cart back or just pushes it into an empty spot? I see that as such a lazy and rude act. You leave it to the next guy to deal with and make it a problem for the stores employees. Might not seem like much, but if a person is lazy enough to just push a cart aside and not put it in the space set aside for carts in the parking lot then how would they find the energy to fight for world peace?

    • @FarmerBenny
      @FarmerBenny 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      1 - I put my carts away. 2 - Other people put their carts away sometimes. 3 - Somebody's job is to put carts away. 4 - World peace is possible!

    • @porpus99
      @porpus99 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      FarmerBenny There is not a job title for "putting away shopping carts". It is something that an employee of a store has no choice but to do. A cart is a convenience, provided to help shoppers purchase more items with ease. Regardless, its the complete lack of respect people have when instead of walking an extra fifteen feet to put a shopping cart in a designated area they instead push it in the middle of a parking space, or into a position it will end up bumping against a car. It is laziness and a complete lack of respect. If people are to lazy to do this simple thing, how can their be world peace? If there is not enough respect to help make the employees of a stores job easier, or the parking situation of other shoppers easier, how can people be expected to respect one another enough to get past old stupid hatreds?

    For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. peace is impossible when those 3000 year old words have been written on the stone, later 3000 years nothing has changed.

    @goldenkey007 He is not anti-China, he is pro-religious-freedom.. He doesn't hate anyone, the Chinese are opressing his people. We do not worship him, we follow him, the same way people followed Ghandi, or Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He is simply a figure of hope, of love, of compassion and of freedom. You should look inside yourself and see what it is that you gain from spouting such hate, because all that can truly come of it is unhappiness.

His ministry actually costs them money. they do great work in their community and they help anyone who needs it. I don't discount your comments as they sadly are on point about many. However, I have to acknowledge that not all "ministers" do thier thing in the same way.
