His Holiness is one of the greatest, most profound leaders of our time. I'm a Christian, but I love his teachings.

I guess we have to thank the chinese for having invaded Tibet, because now, Tibet is all over the world. And also because of that, we are blessed with the teachings of this extraordinary man, who interact ancient knowledge with the most advanced sciences.
May H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama live a thousand eras.

This is one of his best lectures. Any person, theist or non theist would love this lecture.
But for 21st century no other religion makes sense other than buddhism.

Im whatching this for the first time...suprising how the world is declining rapidly, decreasing in understandment of each other, nature, life abroad. Also philosophy is being ignored as well. Personally, Im trying to make a stong connection between psycology and philosophy. I just turned 16 last month, so does that make me crazy/depressed? Or just seeking answers? Reply if you can help.

The beliefs that tell us that I am a Christian ... or I am a Lutheran ... or a Jew seems to confuse me. Am I really my beliefs? Am I the path I try to follow? Or am I the explorer seening truths that allow me to experience and share my feelings of dignity, peace and joy ? I really don't think I will ever be smart enought to know who I really am ... but only what my beliefs want me to identify with.

dalai lama spoke of six dimensions of viewing in order to gather a good sense of reality. Can some one help me with what these six dimensions are and what they are called? (not senses) I know dependent origination in some terms but is he speaking of another aspect of Buddhism I am unfamiliar with? Is it emptiness and gather six folks to discuss? (six subjective judgments > one) ha.
    thank you.

Buddhists think that this universe does not exist.Unreal. They do not believe in jeevatma (individual soul). They do believe in Paramatman (supreme soul or absolute atman). This buddhist view is a very distorted version of Hinduism's Sankhya and Advaita philosophies which say that observed (matter) does not exist without the observer (individual soul or atman or consciousness) . It is validated by quantum double slit experiment
