Looks ok, I currently mod a lot of standard pads with TMR/Hall sensors, Would be interesting to see a teardown of one and see what sensors there using.
Great controller. Slightly better than Switch controller I use for STO. More buttons are always great. For controller fans, there's a program called Xpadder. It allows you to assign Keyboard keys to your controller, rapid fire, auto-fire, Dead-zone analog drift fix, macro scripts, much much more. I've been playing STO with it for the last 11 years. The controller in this video seem absolutely perfect for it. I just wish more controllers had a six button layout like the SEGA Saturn controller. For example: ABC XYZ (SEGA) instead just AB XY (Nintendo and XBOX). Less buttons for no reason. Not very helpful when playing N64 games on a PC. (It requires A,B, C-Up, C-left, C-right, and C-down)
Good comprehensive review. Given the size of Spencer’s hands (IYKYK) that controller must be massive 🤣. Not in the market for a new controller and didn’t really like the PS ones when I had PS. Too used to Xbox controller now. Controller has some nice features, really like the button switch for Xbox and Switch. Nice touch
Has anyone been able to get straight Bluetooth to PC to work? I can only use the dongle, and all of the marketing, and the box say Bluetooth is an option. No issue connecting to my phone via BT

Great evaluation sir thank you.
Great review, I am in the market for a Controller and will keep this one in mind.
Wait you do non STO stuff too!?
Here and there
Not my usual peripheral, but will be checking it out now.

Hi Spencer, on console the Bual sentry ship won't exit sentry mode
Since STO and COL are the only games I play, I would like to have seen that controller being used in STO.
You play Project Wingman? Based.
this is the controller that imploded that sub last year

I had my eye on this one. I do have a question, though. How are the haptics/rumble?
Been good for me so far

Gah, title said Tarantula and I thought someone had made a physical model of the Tholian Tarantula.
Honestly I've never liked the playstation controller layout, it's too uncomfortable and inefficient for FPS and shooters.
