    Hey that’s dielectric grease you should put a thin layer of that back in the motor contacts. That’s not what kept it from working. It was the build up of dust or debris collecting on the contacts. Dielectric grease will keep it from corrosion in the future. Also if your watching this video look at the recalibration video to complete the job.

    since there are 3 of these in my sierra I'm not sure which one to change-I have air flow to the 4 vents in the dash but no defrost, no air to feet. There is only hot air to passenger side, only cold air on drivers side and only from the vents in the dash.

    I thought that cleaning it was not a good idea. But, you were right. Thank you. Cleaned out that grease and it started working again.

    hay otro actuador para cambiar la direccion del aire?. Aquel que envia el aire a los pies o a la cabeza o al parabrisas o combinado?. Mi privlema es que solo da el aire hacia los pies y al tablero. Si enfria si hay aire caliente si hay fuerza y temperatura pero no hay cambio de direccion. Gracias

    • @QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance
      @QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s when your heater or ac is stuck and it won’t shift to hot or cold, it’s stuck on one.

      No, in your case it sounds like you may have a blown fuse or maybe a bad fan / blower motor.

    • @williamwilliams4559
      @williamwilliams4559 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you fan is not coming on its your blower motor or blower motor resistor easy fix

    I ordered brand new actuator plugged it in where old was was started the car turned rear ac on and when i pressed mode change i watched actuator move and kept moving and than it started clicking and it wouldnt stop i changed mode again and it still wouldnt stop clicking what do you think could be the cause that i kept moving even though i changed mode only once i think thats the reason my old one went bad

    • @RobertThorne-qj9qd
      @RobertThorne-qj9qd 6 ปีที่แล้ว
