WOWZER! You solved my problem! For several months the vent on the drivers right side has intermittently blown hot air when the AC was on. A local shop diagnosed it as the blend attenuator and told me it would take $600 to fix it because the dash had to be removed. As per your video, I removed the HVAC fuse for 15 seconds, turned on the engine, and everything worked fine. The air had not blown as cold as it should have for months. Now he system works like new. HUGE thanks! Note to others, the HVAC fuse location in my 2014 Silverado is on the left side of the dash. The panel has to be removed in order to access. Until I looked in the owner’s manual I didn’t realize there were fuses in that location. The fuse box under the hood does contain an AC fuse but not the HVAC fuse.

I've got something similar going on with my 14 Sierra, but mine I believe is tied into the one on the top of HVAC since when I have both side turned to cold, the drivers side vents blow semi-cold. I have the part just got to pull out more stuff to be able to get at the top screws.
My 2014 GMC Yukon is stuck on blowing cold through the front only but no heat and it will not move to floor or defrost also the rear hvac is stuck on blowing cold through the floor vent and will not move to the overhead

You just swapped out the mode actuator not the blend actuator. The blend actuator is the first one you came to buried in the dash.

So that actuator you replaced, did it fix the issue? That actuator you replaced above the pedals, controls the lever arm below the radio?
Mines in the shop now. Several hours later I'm still waiting to hear back. Scary movie.

Changed the actuator for hot/cold on dual air took me an hour alot of cussing and scratched up like you wouldn't believe 🤨👍
