      And there are people, especially women, who kill out of self-defense, but because they couldn't afford a good lawyer, self-defense could turn into a first degree murder.
      They have been victimized all their lives and then when they turned on their abusers, they get punished for it, in the most inhumane way possible now.

      @@barefoot6745absolutely !! I do think that capital punishment is a possibility for some people in a general sense but when we get into the details … it’s much more complicated and most certainly not error free. I certainly could never do it so for me to ask someone else to do it and risk their soul seems wrong.

    My father was brutally murdered in his home. Someone came into his home, ambushed him and shot him.
    This has been the most devastating thing my family and I have ever dealt with. We just hope the police are able to find everyone that is involved and make them pay.
    I would like them to suffer the same way my father did. Make them feel the same pain, the same fear and the same agony. However, I know that is not possible. So I will take the second best ending and let the state do it however they see fit.
    I will be at the trial everyday to make sure the prosecution pushes for the death penalty. No deals, no leniency, no sympathy. The monster/monsters responsible deserves nothing less. They can sit in a small cell as they go though all their appeals and exhaust all their options available to them by the US Constitution while they regret their life choices. Then they can take that last final walk to their chamber and feel a portion of the pain, dread and suffering they inflicted on my father.
    My only hope through all of this is I get to look the monster/monsters in the eyes as they take their last breath. If that is not possible then I will make sure the last thing they hear is me telling them to rot in hell.

      You must of never lost someone to murder. It’s the worst thing a human can go through. My father was ambushed in his home while reading on his couch at night when someone snuck into his home and shot him 5 times. He died shortly after on the way to the hospital.
      When the police find the person/people responsible, my family and I want them to get death penalty. They took my fathers life, now my young siblings (both under 10) have to grow up without their father. Now my children will have to grow up without their grandfather. My aunts and uncles have to live without their brother. My grandma has to live without her son. We all have to live life without someone that we all lived and cared dearly about.
      Now none of us want to see someone convicted that isn’t responsible. That’s why we are all letting the police do their job. We want to make sure whoever did it is caught and no one else.
      Finally, I can’t say for certain what an execution will do for my family to help us heal. However, I don’t want to know that whatever monster/monsters are responsible for his murder are getting fed, clothed and housed using our tax dollars. They took my fathers life so they deserve to lose theirs.

  • @bloodlove93
    @bloodlove93 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    there's one problem with the firing squad, regardless of morals, the fact is that a blank vs a real bullet isn't just very different for the target but for the shooter too, if the person has any experience with that caliber or even worse the actual gun, then i promise you, they will instantly know they shot a blank.
    for one semi example, the m134 minigun can't realistically be fired without a mount even by a very strong individual, in that alien or whatever movie arnold uses it in,not only is it on a body rig but it's shooting blanks, nobody could fire that thing otherwise, even a muscle head would be on the ground in a second.
    the cause of recoil is a combined factor of speed and mass,the faster and heavier something moves the more you'll feel it, conversely when you decrease either factor you'll feel a lot less, and it will be noticeable.
    even just shooting different weight bullets from the same gun provides varying recoil as any avid shooter knows,especially those that can chamer multiple rounds like 357 holding 38, I've shot both...you will know, and if i can tell the difference between two real bullets,anyone with any experience can tell between any bullet and no bullet.

    • @iworms
      @iworms ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Not similar at all. We humans can only detect CO2 buildup and not the actual lack of oxygen. The distress feeling of suffocation when you hold your breath, that's from CO2 buildup -- not because you don't breathe in but because you don't breathe out. So death by CO2 is extremely cruel. With nitrogen, there is no suffocation because we continue to expel CO2. That's why people who breathe in helium to make their voice funny, can faint suddenly if done in excess because our body doesn't detect hypoxia.

    • @Darhan62
