Hi folks,I came across your TH-cam channel some months ago and enjoy immensely watching your adventures. I have a daughter who 2022 at the age of 32 found cancer in 4 quadrants of her breast. It's been one hell of a journey, not exactly the Christmas present any of us wanted. Anyway she is on the road to recovery and on the Road, bought a Prado, drove from Perth to Newcastle and back with 3 little ones. You two are an inspiration and I've shown her your adventures and she watches when she needs a lift. Anyway keep up the episodes, I love watching.
Hey there Mate! Thanks heaps for the support, much much appreciated 👍! So so good to hear your daughter is on the mend mate, back on track and out there getting amongst it! If she has any questions or needs a chat tell her to reach out to Kel anytime. 👍👍🎀
Lovely vid, as always. Beautiful spot for some rock fishing, grew up rock fishing with my dad… sorry to hear about Simon, sounded like he would’ve been a mate for life. When Kel teared up I was gone. 😢 enjoy your travels. Life is short!
Great session on the hezzas with quality rigs. Living your best lives on the beach. Such a fitting tribute to Simon, may he Rest in Peace 🎣 🍻. I’m proud to be a member of the Old Mate Adventures Community.
Been livin off those things these days! Hard to find these elusive KG's!! Ha Cheers Ian, yeah we'll miss Simo, he was a great part of our team. Cheers for all the support mate, the tee-shirt is still going strong too!!
I was chilling, eating some cray and abalone, we caught today and washing it down with a beer. It's summer , its hot and life is good. Kids are well fed, Loving your adventures and having a laugh. I get to the end of the video, and it is just such a reminder to hug the ones we love and tell our friends how important they are to us and how much they mean to us. My heart is with you both and thoughts and prayers are going out to Jo and family. I remember laughing at the gear he sent, helping you get a feed. He left the world a better place. That is what you both are doing too. GBYB, Stay safe, have fun! 🙏🤗
I'm so sorry sorry to hear that mate. Reast in peace, Simon. It was definitely a sad ending. But i fantastic start to the video. I would have loved to have caught up with you both while in SA. We will be heading to WA once everything comes together. You both are doing a fantastic job with TH-cam. It will grow fast. I can just see it. Only if you keep slaying those herring haha. Well done. Looking forward to the next 😀 always look forward to the next 👌
Yeah Nath was hectic news hey. Hit us up when you guys hit the road and we'll try and tee up a catchup! 🐟🤺 Yeah slow and steady mate, I'd actually like it to stay the size it is! Haha
@@oldmate_adventures yes. I understand where you are coming from. You don't wantbit to stress you out when you are supposed to be taking it easy at the same time. The reason i dont do photography as a full time job is because i love it so much i don't want it to be work. Just a fun hobby. I will soon be putting some photos in the art centre shop at Port Noarlunga. Should be fun. Starting off with 20 gift cards and a few prints on the walls. As you said. Keeping it small.
Nice one mate! I'd love to buy one off you to put in the van 👍. Got anything stormy? I love storms!! Could do prints and sell em at markets as you travel, would be a good side hussel.
@oldmate_adventures you don't need to buy off me mate. Take it as a gift from me. You both entertain me every weekend. Honestly. It's the one thing i look forward to every Sunday morning. I have a few storm lighting shots on instagram and Facebook. More on instagram. Let me know what catches your eye. 👍🏻
