Nobody talks about the well crafted sound track. It seems to change styles cohesively with every new character.
Ikr they did an amazing job on it, my favorite music part was the transition from halo to mass effect.

+no name the blu shell isnt an insta kill either. You generally cant one-shot bosses in any game. Like you cant backstab the HHH or merasmus in tf2. Theres probably a mass effect example too.

Fun fact: There's an addon in the Steam Workshop called the Original Dismemberment Mod. Give it a try sometime. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Word of warning though: You will take more fall damage while this mod is active, so I advise caution.

I screamed like a fangirl when I saw Commander Shepard vs Master Chief. I regret nothing.
The omni blade isn't an instakill unless you pull them over cover. I call shenanigans.
linnes56 Maybe Chief's shields aren't that strong to withstand an omni-blade attack. Anyway can't beat mass effect tech.
linnes56 Once there's a sword clash in Halo, your shield drops to 0, meaning the omni-blade would instakill him.
krozza247 actually the plasma blade on Halo is powerful enough to kill Shepard in one hit, however, Halo armors can't withstand against plasma blades, so we only have the wielder abilities and anatomy, in that case, how is it possible that MC loose when he is (now in Halo 4) a fully evolved human (plus Spartan genetic tech) , super human reflexes, and he is bigger, faster and with an arm longer than Shepard's... It'just impossible that MC loose if the action consist in cross at nearly same time both blades, even if Shepard stabs 1st MC is faster and again has a longer arm
Gabriel Pereira Everything you've said is about right, however I'm going to say Shepard wins through luck. I know what you are going to say, "But Master Chief had luck on his side as well). This is true, my argument against this is that this isn't MC, the most famous of the Spartan-II project, this is a Spartan III or IV in Mark VI MJOLNIR armor. MC never takes his helmet off, this Spartan does. The S-IIIs are more advanced than regular humans, but are almost mass produced rather than hand picked, and rushed through the procedure compare with S-IIs. The S-IVs are all adult volunteers from various military, and are as such adults when they are augmented. This means they are tougher, but not much taller than they were as regular humans. Shepard could also be considered an augmented human though, as we know he was rebuilt by Cerberus, but we never really find out the extent of his upgrades from death. Plus all his natural Psionic powers would make him a formidable opponent for an S-III or S-IV. If it was MC he was up against though, MC would win all day, every day.
