      I like everything but the bread. It's so hard and crusty. And it's not just Jersey Mikes - all the sub places (subway, firehouse, et all) seem to love using hard, crusty sub rolls. I hate them. Schmitt's bakery used to deliver the softest sub rolls to a place near me called Tropical Treat in Northern MD, who had the BEST cheeseburger subs using those soft sub rolls. They also had a Gorf coin-op video game, so we're talking a long time ago. But surely someone out there must have soft sub rolls today.

      Pro tip - ask the staff to not put the tomatoes on the sub until AFTER they apply "the juice". If they put the tomatoes on first, "the juice" just runs off the tomato slices. If you wait to apply the tomatoes, the lettuce and onions soak all that "juice" - then put the tomatoes on. Works like a charm.

My biggest criticism of the chain is rare, almost pointless coupons good for like two days windows of time. That’s it. The food is simply “sandwich crack” as one person I knew called it. When did a large Italian w/ chips and drinks start costing $15? Prices are to high ie no value any longer. Schlotsky's is worse.

    I have tried Jersey Mike’s on 4 different occasions and have yet to understand the hype. It’s not for me and that’s ok. Apparently they have a huge following so it must be me!!

      Yes, exactly. They have sure got cheap lately. So, we quit going. If you pay $20 bucks, you expect a very decent sandwich. Well, not anymore ...

    3:20 How is that shady?? You ask them to make something that's *not on the menu* and then complain when you don't get what you want because they didn't know how to make it?!
    7:50 How is offering a brownie that "isn't unique" a shady thing?? They didn't make the chips that you can buy with your sandwich, so why is it shady that they didn't make the brownie?

    I ended up with a hot chicken philly in a to go order by mistake (I had ordered a steak philly). After driving 15 miles back home is when I discovered the mistake. I figured wth and I tried it anyways. I had never had a worse tasting bite of anything in my 65 years than that bite. We have outside cats that patrol the property close to the house for field mice and snakes. They are quite proficient at their jobs. I dumped the sandwich in a bowl in the kitchen and then tore up the bread in small pieces and took it outside to put in their feed bowl. Like cats do (9 of them) they scurried over to see what treat they were getting. They sniffed the sandwich and some of them looked up at me like "what is this?" A few grabbed some pieces and took small bites and then walked away. The possum ate what was basically the whole remaining sandwich later that evening. The cats that eat wildlife wouldn't eat the sandwich.

    Jersey Mike’s stinks. If you want a good hoagie (subs are what outsiders call them) there’s a million mom and pop local pizza places in South Jersey that beat Jersey Mike’s a million times over.

      True enough, but out here on the left commie coast, Jersey Mike’s is the best. I lived in Philly for 40 years so speak from experience. And Subway? Blah!

  • @GhostKilo36
    @GhostKilo36 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Of course the product is diluted in all aspects of the hoagie, but they are the only shop that offers a full sub for 20.00 and less. Plus...where's the meat?...Reduce the salad.

    Omg, please, you make it sound like the worst place on earth to eat a sandwich. I love JM's, thousands of people do, so go easy on all the complaintsl. No place is perfect but you make it sound horrible, which it's not. If you want a perfect sandwich, stay home and make it at your house. Nobody has died from day old rolls, stop it.

    Wow this video sucks so bad everything pretty much that they're saying is false and you know it's probably coming from another sub company that's paying for this video to be downgrading Jersey Mike's SMH 🤦🤦 what a shit kid move lmao 😂 so sad people have to go to these lengths to make videos like this to downgrade a very very good company that makes very very good Subs and now speaking of this its making me want to go get one right now lol
