- Jersey Mike’s may seem like a regular submarine sandwich chain, but what sets it apart is that it creates a deli-like atmosphere. You get to see your sub’s meat and cheese sliced right in front of you.
It may not be the same thing as walking into a New Jersey or New York deli, but there are some other unique things about it as well. A popular way to have your sandwiches is “Mike’s Way,” which includes a mixture of red wine vinegar and olive oil called “The Juice.”

The cleaning standards are the same at subway, or jersey mikes lol. The sanitation inspectors have the same standards for all sub shops.
Worked at Jersey Mike's in high school and half of my college years. Good job for that age - and I learned a lot. Also their subs are way superior to subway. Especially the philly cheese steaks! The only downside was going home smelling like onions & vinegar every night, but it was worth it. I even got to meet Mr. Cancro when our franchises were bought out by Corporate Jersey Mikes - he was nice, down to earth dude - showed up in a Jersey Mikes uniform and actually asked to see how fast we were at making and wrapping subs. He seemed pretty impressed and proud of what we did at that store. Left there as a shift supervisor once I found a job in my college field in IT. :)
I work here currently and all food is prepped and made fresh the moment it arrives. Nothing short of a fantastic sandwich.

Currently a GM for one in Illinois never been more proud of the company I work for. Quality subs and the best work environment I’ve ever been in .

abursaw Jimmy John's sucks they can't even give you chips with your sub you have to pay extra for it their idea of a combo meal is just a sandwich and a drink I mean how cheap do they get. All the other places give you chips with your sandwich that doesn't make any sense. I mean their subs are okay but they're not great

Firehouse subs and Mr Sub 10x better. Any maa and Paa pizza place makes a better sub.

I worked at a grocery store in a really nice neighborhood when I was a kid. They made the best subs ever. All the veggies, meat, and cheese, were all sliced fresh every morning from the produce and deli departments, and the buns were baked in the stores bakery.
as an assistant manager at a jersey mikes, I can say that.... the sub in a tub is no secret, and the chicken parmesan has been discontinued so the second sandwich she mentioned is no longer available
I eat Jersey Mikes atleast twice a week for the last 5+ years. I crave it almost everyday, but when I need "fast food" Jersey Mikes is always my first and top choice. They're incomparable to any other sandwich shop, even their cheese steaks are amazing.

We used to go to the original shop in Point Pleasant. Happy to say the growth has not hurt the quality of the product!
I’m not a sub/sandwich guy when it comes to eating out. JM’s is the exception. When I’m on the road I know I can get a fresh and reasonably healthy meal.

I was skeptical because I was happy with Subway but ... not anymore. This place is incredible.
We have a Jersey Mike's here in Waterford, Ct. I'm 75 years old and very opinionated. And I have to tell you that Jersey Mike's grinders are beyond good. Although, there is a place in East Providence called the Italian Corner that comes very close. Especially the mortadella grinder.
Been a customer for years and every person I invited to Jersey Mike's has never been disappointed.
Hands down my favorite cold sandwich spot. It’s the only place I’ve taken a bite and thought “Damn, that’s a fresh tomato”... the tomato. Fresh sliced daily makes a difference.

I liked guiznos. hate subways. subways are the McDonald's of subs. Jersey Mike's is the best sub around here. 15 miles from me . Made a trip to get one the other night. past 2 subways getting there. a few dollars more. but a much better sub.

Jersey mikes is overpriced. I can get a bigger sandwich at subway for the same price as one from jersey mikes. When it comes to sandwiches, I prefer value and quantity over quality.

The subs are of exceptional quality, consistently well made and delicious. You can custom make everything to your heart’s desire. They are well priced and worth every single penny. They offer kids subs, small, medium and giant subs with all the fixings. Well worth it.
When I first tried Jersey Mike's, I was hooked. They're not expensive and their sandwiches are the same sizes as the ones displayed in their commercials. Not going back to Subway.

Growing up, that ONE Mike's Subs on Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant, NJ was the best sub shop in town. It's no surprise that they are where they are today.

When they opened a new store in Edina, MN free sub coupons were distributed to surrounding retail stores; I've been a huge fan ever since. The local supermarket frequently has a $2 discount coupon printed on the back of the receipt.
I’m partial towards my local chain Cousin’s Subs here in Wisconsin but, definitely Jersey Mike’s is my close second choice.

When I found out there's a Jersey Mikes in our area, I had to try it. I gotta it is so much better than Subway and the staff are so much friendlier.
Jersey is home if the sub/hoagie, plenty of great sandwich shop’s to choose from, Mike’s is one of the few chain franchises to get it right, maybe because they were the first...love this place.

ALRIGHT.. I’m gonna be that guy right now. I’ve been working at a Jersey Mikes for about a year, now. We are sooo happy to help you make the sub of your dreams, and with our fresh bread and ingredients we can do that... but at about 8:40pm-9:00pm we are in the process of closing shop and it is SUPER hard to supply you with a super fresh and delicious sub while also keeping our grill/slicer clean. If you care about us workers, please come in earlier than 8:30! ❤️❤️❤️

I got to say Jersey Mike's not only because I'm an AGM of one but because the quality of the food and the service we provide to our customers.
Currently work at one. Food is absolutely fresh down to every last ingredient available. Our owner steals our tips and refuses to promote us pay wise so i wont be staying much longer but the brand itself is great.
On your way out, make sure to report the owner to Jersey Mike's corporate office. That's just wrong. If you can sneak a video of him taking the tips, all the better.

a "full" sub is a regular, 7.5 inches. The giant is 15 inches. If you're eating a giant sandwich all at once, you've got a problem. I buy them at that size, but thats 2 meals(half/half)...

Seriously being from Massachusetts right outside of Boston there are so many wonderful places to have a sub I currently reside in NC and if it wasn’t for Jersey Mike’s there would be no subs worth eating it is a little pricey but considering it’s the only choice worth even touching it’s well worth it!

I first started eating in one after a rough work day at my first job, and was first taken aback at the prices. Then I thought, what the hell. A few years later, it's now my go-to sub place. Subway used to be that during my college days, now I'll never step back in one. Quality is night and day comparing these two places.
I snuck a Jersey Mike's Club Sub into Regal and I watched Far From Home. The sandwich has a lot of sodium, but it has lots of meat and it tastes really good.

Born and raised in NJ and never really ate or bought theirs products. In 1999 moved to the Jersey Shore and found that JM's was very popular and even had small franchises inside supermarkets next to the deli counters. Anyway broke down and got their subs and found them to be freshly sliced and the breads were fresh and good. Made to order subs that I have yet to find in Va. Yes there are "Jimmy Johns" but they are not as good and the meat is sliced so thin you can read a newspaper through them. And my favorite sub is Ham, Provolone, and Salami with oil, vinegar, lettuce, tomato and onions. Simple and good. How ever after finding a Jersey Mikes here I noticed that the bread is NOT the same and their idea of Ham is totally different. Even so JM's is the best sub makers I have found.
