I used to work for Publix in Clearwater and Dunedin. Publix was founded in Lakeland and my wife met Mr. George in the old Dunedin store in the 70’s. Remember it’s not Quantity it’s Quality. Since I’m from Philadelphia I know a lot about sandwiches, especially because D’Alessandro’s was a block away from my house. So Jersey Mikes are terrible I had them twice in different locations and they are MANURE!!! Subway are decent for a chain but it depends if they show up for work mentally. Publix is good because of the Quality of the Meats and Cheese’s. My favorite place is Detweilers on Swift and Clark Road in Sarasota. They make a mean Turkey Sub and then I go home and put jellied cranberry sauce on it. It’s like Thanksgiving Day. And their bakery is next to it so get some big giant chocolate chip cookies. Make sure to get the small cans of cranberry sauce and put it in the fridge a couple days before!! Great Videos Thank You 🙏

Publix takes 30 min to get your sub. Therefore it loses points. Jersey mikes all day everyday baby!
The long wait time for pub sub is worth it
Thank goodness I live in New York where we can get real sandwiches on real great bread from every local deli.
Is there no garbage these two won’t drip all over these sandwiches.
No, there’s not. Thanks for watching!
That is okay, when it comes to food in the Tampa Bay Area I am the Common Sewer Lol Connoisseur of Great Local Restaurants.
lol!!
Now I’m craving for a sub
No Substation II ????
I wanted to put Publix up against other popular chains. I’m eventually going to dub station for a review.
I visit JM and Subway. I also like JJ's. Out of the 3 JM always seems to be hit and miss in my area.
I've always liked Jersey Mike's
There’s a new sheriff in town!
Down here in Columbia,Tn., i choose Jersey Mikes for their philly cheese steak, get the parmesan bread for that, turkey bacon, ranch, 16:25 cheese and Publix is best value, also the TBRC at firehouse is great too. I avoid subway.
I hear ya!
Great Videos Thank You 🙏
Thank you so much. I can tell you are a legit foodie. Great story about your local spots! Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry I missed Detweikers in Sarasota last year, when my family and I were in Siesta Key.
Love the dog tricks by the way!! lol
None of them are going to beat Legacys Italian sub at $13 for the large. The thing cravings are made of
You don’t measure circumference?
The weight is more reflective than girth. lol!!.

You two😁❣️❣️❣️❣️
Thank you!
So the people at Pot Belly and Firehouse Subs have put a hit out on you. You gave Publix a low bar to cross here.
More people are familiar with Hersey Mike and subway.
