Costco bc we don’t have a Sam’s club. Costco needs to bring back the polish dog and the churros. U didn’t mention the Polish dog they had when they first opened up. 😢
Y’all need to update this video and it just came out. Costco doesn’t sell the churro anymore. Also, they don’t do the roast beef sandwich, it’s now a turkey sandwich.
I have been a very loyal Costco member for over 23 years. I have to admit, Sam's does have some great pluses for itself. I may need to consider both for both have great things to offer its customers.
Both are great. Costco has a kiosk in food court for ordering. Sams does not. Costco only has pepperoni and cheese pizza. Come on! Sams has way more varieties. Dont know why or when Costco cut back on the variety.
Hot Dogs: Draw. Pizza: Costco has better quality, but Sam's club has a pizza with bacon on it (the 4 meat pizza). If you get the meat pizza, then Sam's club. Otherwise, Costco. Snacks: Don't care. Sandwiches: Costco's chicken bake was good, but I haven't bought one since it went from $2.99 to $3.99. Salads: Super don't care. Drinks: Neither carry root beer, so both loose. Costco is less of a loser because theirs costs $.20 less. Is the cup slightly smaller? Yes, but it is still a really big cup and refills are free. Deserts. Ice cream is better than frozen yougurt. However, Sam's Club's $1.58 berry sundae wins. as the berry blend is good and its half the price of the Costco competitor. Experience: Costco. Sam's club regularly runs out of food items in the afternoon, even 4-5 hours before they close. Costco is churning out whole pizzas up until the very last minute. Sam's club also make you wait in line to order. Summary: Both are fine in their own rights. It is like their stores in many ways. Costco is a better experience and has higher quality products. Sams club is slightly cheaper. Also, Sams club puts bacon on one of their pizza's.
Eh, Sam's Club pretty much just being "Walmart with a membership" is a massive nope from me. Dont support Walmart, and I certainly dont support Sam's Club.
I am cheap, with no membership fees. I won't even pay for Amazon Prime! I have a stove, microwave, and air fryer, so I can do without a food court also.
It’s a joke who made this video sams n costco are pretty much same yes a dif sandwich but no one I know even liked this sandwich they are talking about pizzas are the same too
Sams does not have an inferior dog…. They have the same this is a false advertisement they gamble 2 dif buns that is all I will go to Sam’s 1st now they are both same price sams cup is also larger sams has a more friendly store costco is upidy acting like they are better than everyone when I signed up as one of the 1st costco shoppers when they opened the 1st store in my are I was the 1st in line I now hardly ever go there as they act above everyone like they are superior they ARE NOT…. Same crap at both stores and sometimes you’ll pay more for same items as well as paying a higher membership fee again when they opened in Schaumburg 1st I was one of the 1st in line…. But things have changed a lot in 20 plus years I only go few times a year… usually if I’m out of town and that’s what I run into 1st or if a friend says let’s meet there
I go to both Costco and Sam's. The prices at Costco have gone up on everything but their hot dog combo, while Sam's has stayed the same or actually gone down like their hot dog combo going from $1.50 to $1.38. The Sam's 4 meat pizza is the best IMO.
Costco customers are the rudest people I have ever met, from the parking lot road rage to hitting other customers with shopping carts, to butting in line at checkout!
Agree with video except for 1 category. Personal preference is the sam club pizza is better. The sam club pizza slice is not as greasy, and definitely more flavorful. Pizza goes to sams club.
It was regional I think; cannot nail down if it's Italian or Polish sausage as it might be Italian in Northeast and Polish in Midwest. It was great but all gone now
Costco used to have Coca Cola products in the food courts. I don't remember when they switched over, maybe 10 years ago. It's like the old Saturday Night Live Olympia Restaurant skits from the 70's: "No Coke...Pepsi" until a Coca Cola rep made them an offer they couldn't refuse and the started selling Coca Cola.
I wouldn't call it the poor mans option. It's hard for me (1) to pay more for costco (2) drive further (3) have much fewer locations to shop at. I thought I would switch to Costco after a year, but because of the 3 options above, I'd rather stay with Sams
I think Sam’s Club is better because it’s a cheaper value to be in their program Costco cost you $65 and then you don’t get a free card either you have to pay $120 just to have two cards Sam’s you get one and you get one free I think that’s a lot better deal if you ask me And I love Sam’s and every time I’ve been to Costco’s they’ve never had what I wanted and they were a lot higher than Sam’s so I’ll go back to Sam ‘s as my granddaughter calls at Sambo’s
Sam's Club pizza is much better than Costco, better flavor, more toppings. Although slightly smaller but a dollar cheaper, I even prefer the Sam's Club pizza over any of the chains (Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc).
I work for Sam's. They got rid of the Supreme (Deluxe) pizza a week or so ago. I wasn't happy about that. Also, the buns stick to the hotdog and that's disappointing to say the least. Costco wins!
Sam's club has always won for our family. Location wise, price wise, product wise. Food court offerings were not part of my reasonings but we do love to grab a drink and pretzel when there.
The chicken bake is good, but Sam’s pizza is better and you can get supreme. I’ve also seen scan n go ready pizza at Sam’s recently so I can grab one on a whim and walk right out with the rest of my stuff and skip the checkout line.
Costco is quite a drive for me. Used to be I would make the drive, just because of their combo 'everything' pizza. That alone would make the extra gasoline, worth it. Once they stopped offering the everything pizza, I let my card expire. I can get everything else I need, elsewhere and not have to make that long drive. Goodbye Costco.
Costco and Sam's Club are both far away from me (about an hour away), so refrigerated goods and especially ice cream items would not survive the trip. I buy these items from a local supermarket (10 minutes away). That leaves non-perishable goods (paper towels, toilet paper, styro cups, paper plates, etc). I quit Costco because they made the stupid decision to stop carrying styrofoam cups. That leaves Sam's Club.
I've noticed over time, Costco has shranked their Chicken Bakes in width. It's much skinnier now. 😡Also, now when you bite into it, the first 2-3 bites on the end is just pure dough whereas before it was filling all the way. 👎
You video is misleading. Costco NEVER sold Ball Park Hot Dogs. They used to sell Hebrew National branded hot dogs until replacing it with their in-house Kirkland brand. Your stock video shows the dogs are cooking on a grill. They are not! No more churros or roast beef. Your videos are usually spot on but you missed the boat on this one and especially because your video is relatively new, your content should not be relatively old.
I recently got Sam's club through Groupon for $20. I'm in Houston and Sams Club on a Saturday afternoon is like "an event" for families. The food court is packed, but the lines go down at an OK pace. The food is really good. I thought I would go to Costco after this one year but I'll probably stay with Sams because there's not many Costcos and they are all further away from me than Sams
costco imo has better food court options all around. better hot dog better pizza. better ice cream. better quality. i do prefer the drinks at sams cuz the offer dp as well as pepsi but that's about it.
On the hotdog & pizza front, I think Sam's wins since I get sick on the Costco variation and they're lacking on the toppings for the pizza. Store wise, Costco wins on everything else.
Sorry but a $60 membership for a Costco hotdog or $40 membership for a Sam's club hotdog plus the hour drive to buy them is not worth it for me. 5 minutes or less to 3 area grocery stores and a possible Brat, burger and hotdog stand during spring, summer and fall is a plus.
A lot of people get the executive membership at Costco which can pay for itself at the end of the year. They provide a check based on a percentage of what you’ve spent at Costco all year long.
At least at our Sam’s, membership *IS* required for food court orders. I generally prefer the shopping experience at Sam’s over Costco, primarily due to Sam’s Scan & Go app. When it comes to food court, I find the ordering process actually better at Costco, as they have multiple kiosks for ordering. I wish Sam’s would allow ordering food court items from phone, that would again put Sam’s over the top when it comes to food court. Costco is always overcrowded and extremely chaotic. Sam’s is rarely overcrowded.
I've been a member at Sams for only 1 year and I decided not to renew. And I'm not impressed, The lines are very long and very slow, and the place is a mess and disorganized as for the gas station, the lines are sometimes 70 (yes, seventy) cars long and I've had to wait over 30 minutes to get to the pumps Costco may has less variety on their shelves AND I feel a lot safer there. Sam's Club always has 2 Police SUV's parked at the the front with their roof flashers on; I wonder why?
Costco has the self order kiosk meaning no long 30 min waits, Pizza could use some TLC but cant beat the $10 for large size, Does suck they changed there sandwich menu's and churros... I only eat churros at Disney soo. Sams Club, there employees are rude and loud for no reason, seating is definitely way better for sure! Hot dogs could be better, sucks the food court closes early though and when it comes to your food being called, they dont call your number or name they just scream out the food name and hope to be thats yours and not someone eles food
Costco is the clear winner for me. Sure, Costco's food court doesn't have the variety that Sam's Club has but that isn't important to me. I'm a life-long Costco member because the warehouse is brightly lit while Sam's Club warehouse is dark and gloomy. Costco's shopping aisles are wider and easier to navigate plus their warehouse is much better organized and the quality of Costco's merchandise is superior to Sam's Club.
I think they are both about the same, but I go to Sam's Club because Costco won't build more Costco stores. Sam's Club is just more convenient because there seem to be more of them. If I were to go to a Costco, I have to drive at least 25 miles one way. That's just too far to go shopping. So, I vote for Sam's Club!
At mine and several others I have visited frequently you do. At any of the sams I have been to you dont. My costco has also been very strict with the recent membership photo check during checkout.
I'm ditching my Costco membership because they got rid of the churro, and that was one of the main reasons why I had a Costco membership. I endured them getting rid of the everything pizza, and just managed, but this is a step too far. Bye-bye Costco!
How much did the Walton family pay Mashed to say that Sam's Club Food Court was better? I prefer Costco's Food Court with its Strawberry Soft Serve and BEYOND DELICIOUSNESS Pizzas.
Costco is still the better overall store for having rare items. Sam's Club is really just a much better Neighborhood Walmart with a better food court and conveniences like no-counter paying
Was a member of Sam’s, but let my membership lapse. Why? All the B.S. ads showing up in my emails. Called them to stop but they still continue. Never ate a thing there except for samples. Went there to shop, not eat. Total time waster! Now shop mainly at Aldi’s and Walmart. Hate Walmart but tolerate the long check out lines to save money on once a month items. Aldi is quick in and out with high quality private label items. Produce is superior, stores are clean.
We went to get pizzas ordered for my daughter birthday in the third week of February. The day we went they had discontinued the deluxe pizza and werent even selling any pizzas that day. We also went today and i waited in line for a while to get a pretzel for me and the kids to eat while we shopped and got to the counter to find out they were out. Their soda machines were also all out of order. And their 25¢ water bottle machine was out of order. Big oof.
While the rules may say you need a membership to hit the cafe at Costco, in practice you don't. I eat there regularly and have no membership. They only check cards at the warehouse door, not the door closest to the cafe.
sams club member here but i have never been to the food court. with them tucking the food court behind the registers in the corner and I use scan n go, i never go to that side of the store and never think about it
We toured our local costco. I compared prices on many items and costco was a little more expensive on all items. The clothes, holiday, seasonal, office, cleaning options were all more pricy than the items i would get at Sam's.
Costco needs to offer more beverage options in their food court like Sam's. It sucks you can't get iced tea at the costco food court and are limited to Pepsi and the nasty raspberry brisk.
All you have to do is eat the food and Costco is the clear winner. It's about quality food at a good price. Costco wins big time. It doesn't sound like the ones doing this video really ate the food. The food court is not a money maker and should be limited to members. Costco food court is crowded enough that it wouldn't be fair to let in the general public. I shop at both stores and with the food choices I see Costco as the winner. We can live nicely without a remote ordering app.
Which food court do you prefer?
Costco bc we don’t have a Sam’s club. Costco needs to bring back the polish dog and the churros. U didn’t mention the Polish dog they had when they first opened up. 😢
I've never been to Sam's Club, none in my area. I like the Costco hot dog but skip the soda after I experienced a mold like flavor in my drink.
I prefer Costco.
Sam's club 🎉🎉🎉
Sam's Club
Y’all need to update this video and it just came out. Costco doesn’t sell the churro anymore. Also, they don’t do the roast beef sandwich, it’s now a turkey sandwich.

Y’all ?? A Walmart employee, I presume…
Y’all 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂a typical cowboy 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I’m assuming the roast beef sandwich was better then the turkey sandwich
Both stores should offer coffee and hot cocoa especially during cold weather especially during winter. I prefer Sam’s club pizza, it’s less oily.
The cost of the cheap food court food is made up in the membership price, duh!!!

Sam’s club offers a bigger soda cup with the hot dog combo than Costco. Sam’s club combo pizza much better than Costcos pizza.
Plus the soft drink selection is much better. This is where costco needs to step up their game.
Costcos pizza is better lol
If the Costco food court is outside of the Costco membership is not necessary.
#RFMvids
Hellthy Junk Food just did this about a week ago …. It’s a great video, actually taste tests were done …
Sam's Club hot dog is better.
LOVE that Dog deal!!!!!!!!!
Did this say that Costco requires membership to use food court? I've eaten there without one repeatedly
Sam's deli pizza is my favorite, even better than my homemade. Their frozen pizza is bleh.
Eh, Sam's Club pretty much just being "Walmart with a membership" is a massive nope from me. Dont support Walmart, and I certainly dont support Sam's Club.
Since our city has 3 Walmart's and has had a Sam's Club for 34 years but NO Costco ... Sam's Club is the clear winner where I live.

Sam's Club pizza is much better than Costco, better flavor, more toppings. Although slightly smaller but a dollar cheaper, I even prefer the Sam's Club pizza over any of the chains (Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc).
Thank You
I was gonna say this I was surprised they used the size of the pizza as the deciding factor. The flavor is way better at Sam's!
Sams Club ✅
I work for Sam's. They got rid of the Supreme (Deluxe) pizza a week or so ago. I wasn't happy about that. Also, the buns stick to the hotdog and that's disappointing to say the least. Costco wins!
Sam's also screwed up their soda selections by adding Pepsi products along with the type of ice they used to have,

Here at PR , Sams's Carry Coke products. Also way less variety .
While the rules may say you need a membership to hit the cafe at Costco, in practice you don't. I eat there regularly and have no membership. They only check cards at the warehouse door, not the door closest to the cafe.
They are going to start checking card at the food court in April.
I miss when Costco had pretzels.
costco pizza tastes like dominoes. I like dominoes but I like sams club food court pizza better
sams club member here but i have never been to the food court. with them tucking the food court behind the registers in the corner and I use scan n go, i never go to that side of the store and never think about it
You can't get a combo pizza at my Costco and no churro.
Church's?!
@@proudasiangirl576 it was auto correct it was supposed to be churro.
@@bjjohnson4418 ah, yes, I hate auto correct! LOL
You do not need a membership to eat at a Costco food court.
Correction.. you do now...in addition to scanning your membership card at the door.... new policy for 2024
@@ck7cu Not at ours. Was just there yesterday. Got pizza and a hot dog. Paid in cash and no card required.
@@KlasicKumputerz that won't last long....they are moving to requiring membership.
Costco no longer offers churros, they replaced it with a cookie
Evcerything is a contest.
the hotdogs are better at SAMS
Costco's hotdogs and pizza are so good. Their chicken bake is the bomb.
Some Costcos have food courts that are outside of the store. Lihue, HI and San Bernardino, CA are 2.
Tucson Az north store also
Arden location in Sacramento, CA as well.
Yes. My freezer burn is worth it.🍨🍦
Costco did away with their Churros.
We toured our local costco. I compared prices on many items and costco was a little more expensive on all items. The clothes, holiday, seasonal, office, cleaning options were all more pricy than the items i would get at Sam's.
Sam's club >>>>>> Sh**co
Need coke
Costco needs to offer more beverage options in their food court like Sam's. It sucks you can't get iced tea at the costco food court and are limited to Pepsi and the nasty raspberry brisk.
Thankfully I live near both. Never tried Sam’s Club though. These comments are helping me decide if I should 😂
All you have to do is eat the food and Costco is the clear winner.
Costco's chicken bake sandwich is absolutely 🤢 gross.
Sam's club will always be the best. Costco is garbage
