Thanks for the review. I think its probably the best one for explanations on the Hurricane. Its a shame they're hard to come by., but I found one on Ebay, and decided to go for it on based on this review. Cheers
I'm pretty sure APA was one of the first compounds that you don't need a bow press to work on and I'm sure APA's bows are the only ones that had built in tool's like nock tool, broad head sharpener and a pin to lock the cams open to be able to take the strings off or cams apart in the field without any other tool's. oh and a handle built-in plus extremely fast speeds.
Yeah apa can do all that but they are modular draw adjustment not rotating module, and depending on the bow they have massive differences in draw length ie my apa m6 needed 28.5in modules to shoot my 29.5in draw, that's a massive disappointment as it brings advertised speeds down by at least 10fps. I had a look at these w&w bows today and can say I'm very impressed I really liked the dragonfly 40 as I shoot barebow these days but this carbon bow was very nice and 1300 cheaper than a hoyt defiant. same price as a bowtech carbon icon and this thing is heads and shoulders a better bow than the icon
They need to roll this kind of stuff and tradtech into a new line just for hunting. I think when americans-westerners see win&win products they think target recurve and are put off. Tradtech does pretty well in the trad world and i think part of that is because its not called win&win.
Will the newer Arion / Griffin allow you to work on the bow without a bow press as well? Seem like really great bows but little to no info on them available and the one shop that carries them was clueless
+Luqman Hakim No sorry I can't. Elite have never got back to me. I sell Scott and the Elite brands but the sales rep from Elite never has got back to me. The bow company really depends on the sales rep selling the product. Elite make a nice product. The Elite bow is draw length adjusted by modules. Elite use Barnsdale limbs which are excellent. Elite has a well finished product. Just not a product I can sell. In Australia I don't think any archery stores have Elite bows. I do shoot the Elite bows when I go to the US.
I'm yet to find a review of this bow shooting a round. Super keen to see your back yard shoot with one! The price point is about where I need it to get my carbon fetish fix.

the Bowtech knight riser bows are all about 3.2# and draw up to 70# and have IBO speeds up to 345 fps.

Nice bow mate :)
Please review the shadow pro 36

+Archery Supplies I really hope you can sell Elite bows one day. Btw pats archery is selling it.
+Archery Supplies elite uses Gordon glass limbs, they went away from Barnsdale limbs close to 6 years ago..

I NEED!!! 1200.00.....tough buy-in price. I'll stay with my KAP & SF (Win Win) recurve.
Well I was excited until I heard the DL, as a 30” draw shooter I’m left in the cold.
No problem now. They have 3 cams available for different draw lengths
Haven’t been able to find those other cams anywhere in the USA
Your release is not a Joypad. Don't need to punch your trigger so hard. ;-)
