Nice! That’s something that I had planned to do on my 85. With a 6 inch lift and 37’s i will need step bars. My plan is to try to make some that will run from wheel well to wheel well with dual fuel tanks.
Your video is the first that I have seen that makes it a bolt on setup which is what I want also. Nice job!👍🏻

@slingingsteel9744 Thanks man! Yeah it requires a little welding but overall it was pretty easy. I would think you could make longer ones as you mentioned. Just might need one more support brace in the middle.

@@vikingmech yeah. I don’t think it will be to difficult to do. I haven’t really took to much time yet to figure out how I’m going to do it. I’m a welder and fabricator by trade so I’m not too worried about building it but I always enjoy watching what others come up with too. There is always someone else that comes up with a better idea or I can use a mix of my ideas and others. I’ve been building cars and welding for over 40 years and still learning things

@@slingingsteel9744 Same here. I don't do this for a living but I've always enjoyed welding, fabricating and building cool cars as a hobby. I usually try to make a video when I can't find any others showing the same thing.
