Bob, you amaze me at what you get done, but what really amazes me is I don't know how old you are, but I am 68 and my knees don't bend anywhere near as good as yours do. Keep up the good work. TP
I have a 79 k10 with the same rust issues all over the cab but this motivates me to want to fix it up and do everything myself. Every car/truck deserves to be restored to its former glory and I appreciate the hard work you do to bring that truck back to life
That's right Mr Bob you are a good guy.i like all your videos. Please don't stop any time soon.all Thea's kids need to know how to do it right... thank you Mr Bob...
Looking good , i done my first time fab work a few weeks ago , rebuilding the track for my back window , it was interesting for sure , stay safe buddy , see you on the next one
Bob Yall earned yourself a subscriber! I like your teaching style! And i have an 85 C30 dually cummins thats needing some new rockers both doors both sides.. Thanks again bob!!
Looks Good grandpa BOB, Thank you for sharing...from South Africa. Costs a fortune to buy those patch panels here. We get robbed in broad daylight with all the shipping cost...Its terrible.
The road grime gets in from any crack, crevice, rock chip, usually from the back side and places you can't get at to wash it out..That is how it rotted out to start with. Regular body putty attracts moisture. I use fiberglass putty especially for first coat in the down and dirty areas for years and no problem.
Really great work on the cowl and those A pillars ! You are a teacher here as much as a builder Bob, wishing I had this lesson before I did mine. You can bet my other side is gonna go much better 👍 Thank You
Mighty good job there Bawb, mighty good 👍! I’m a diggin it! I taught myself on a Mig welder, but haint did any of it in a long time and a buddy of mine in the National Guard’s taught me how to arc weld or stick weld, ever what you wanna call it, actually my Uncle taught me some on stick welder, he had a real old one, it came out of ARMCO years ago, they was gonna throw it away but he got it and fixed it, used that thing for years and years! That’s the welder he taught himself on and shoot man he could weld with that thing, lay down a roll of dimes or whatever.
Thanx so much Bob I replaced a rocker panel back in 1976 on my dad's 1973 c10 truck it didn't look nearly that good 😂 I was still a kid the truck was a piece of crap I see now what I did wrong lol
Yea .. gotta have a long talk with my editor. But hey ... that's for folks that skip around the video ... they get a better chance of seeing that really important step. LOL
Looking good Bob!!! From one Mississippi boy to Another, I’ll be using some of your tips before long on my ol 64 mercury Comet I’ve rebuilding on my channel!! Thanks for showing these tips!! ✌️
The rocker, cab corner and windshield frame look fantastic. Very nice work. Learned a lot as well. Look forward to the next one. Be safe and stay well.
Looking good Mr. RATROD Bob ...I am building an 82 c10 short box myself just doing suspension work now moving onto rust repair in a month or two. You made it look easy . Thanks for the motivation love the project f Keep up the great content..watching from northern British Columbia Canada.
Bob I think you did this a great job on that rocker panel and cab corner. I bought my rocker panels and cab corners 2 years ago and I'm afraid to cut them out. At least up until now. I just watched you do it and you made it look easy by marking it up 16" , I never thought of doing that so I'm going to try it this summer I promise. Keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family. 💯💪👍👍🙏🙏🔥
Great idea about puttin' the door on and checking gap widths and, making that 16" reference mark is also important. I look at so many old cars and especially trucks with this problem, it's good to see how to do it right. Another IMPORTANT take away is not just cuttin' out everything that's bad, all at once. Then, you almost have NO reference points ! Thanks for a great video Bob. You and Red stay well !!
Very informative, no nonsense talking. Very helpful. Thanks Bob
This channel deserves more subscribers.
Thanks for sharing Rat Rod Bob Good day in school. 💯
Looking good Bob! I sure do like your no-nonsense, old school way of gitten er done! Thanks for sharing your talents with us!

You always make it look easy Bob good work though bro
Bob, you amaze me at what you get done, but what really amazes me is I don't know how old you are, but I am 68 and my knees don't bend anywhere near as good as yours do. Keep up the good work. TP
Your getting Bob and it’s looking very nice. Loving ever minute of this build. Keep up the good work and stay safe. ✌️😎👍
It's amazing how much better a pickup will look after puttin on new rocker panels !
I have a 79 k10 with the same rust issues all over the cab but this motivates me to want to fix it up and do everything myself. Every car/truck deserves to be restored to its former glory and I appreciate the hard work you do to bring that truck back to life
