we have basically ended greyhound racing in the US
And the greyhound as a healthy breed will cease to exist. They will now be bred for aesthetic reasons in puppy mills with all that entails.
Greyhoumds are so sweet. Their exploitation and treatment is cruel and disgusting.
We adopted a greyhound, Rheba. The most fantastic friend you could ever imagine. Gentle, fun and loving. She died aged 17. Miss her so much.
Bless your hearts for saving these beautiful, graceful souls.

I’m loving my second greyhound into his 11th birthday next month…yes, there is a bit of farting going on, however, it lessens when you find the right food. Worst thing to feed your greyhound is food that contains fish…fumigation is required!! I’ve found chicken or lamb products produce the least gaseous results and best overall health for my current boy. ❤️
There is a Facebook group called Greyhound friends Australia of which I joined and am now not a part of because of their rules and regulations. They do not allow any negativity to be voiced at all towards Greyhound racing Australia. I just wonder how they feel when they see the channel 10 project investigations into the greyhound racing industry. TH-cam posts like yours and Chanel 10s are the true greyhound friends of Australia. The Facebook group seem to be a group who is in denial and do not accept the truth regarding what is really happening within the greyhound racing industry in 2023. Their dogs are doing great but they turn a blind eye towards the many dogs that aren’t. These are the ones that matter. Thank you and Chanel 10 for your concern. This cruel filthy practice has to stop and I support the banning of greyhound racing in Australia.👍
My ex racer came to me in a very bad state, she has a basic vet, an orthopedic vet and a physio. She has lots of problems but she is the most lovable girl, and yes when she arrived her "passing wind" was horrific, every few minutes. Now it's hardly at all as after lots of attempts, I've got her diet just right. Weight is now correct, energy levels excellent, she's a beautiful, playful and loving girl, so pleased I said yes to adopting her 14 months ago.
