Finishing Tips
Remove ALL loose wood I use a wire brush and it works awesome
Put sealer on next
Now paint the carving with ACRYLIC PAINT (water based) After painting you will need some water in a boall and a rag. Soak the rag in water and wipe MOST of the paint off. If you're using the right paint, it will wipe right off easy as pie leaving only some in cracks and places that needs to stand out. After that do a VERY LIGHT sanding if needed (220 grit max) lower would be better. Last blow off the carving to get the dust out of all the cracks and seal it one last time ..... Good Luck

Terrific video. Keep them coming. This one help me with a current project. Photo VCarve is a very personal choice of carving. I have found that if the subject has any amount of omnidirectional flow in it, like woman’s hair, the outcome looks especially nice if you use Raster and select an angle that matches the flow. It preserves that element of the photo.
