I thought Ronan being a straight villain actually made the movie better. It's always funnier seeing a straight character reacting to all of the nonsense around them, and it worked superbly (particularly at the climax)
emil engen I actually find this movie very unique and emotionally compelling... Marvel's action scenes are always unbelievable but there's always comedy behind this movie's action scenes. What does it have ? A racoon boy and a tree man, a blue and red man and a green woman. And some boring looking ships that i cant even remember what they looked like and a shit story where the cast run around chasing an object that the bad guys want. Its poo. Pure poo.
I actually think the contrast between the heroes and the villain is part of why it's so funny. Marvel Studios really needs to work on their villains. That's something WB has excelled at. Between Heath Ledger's Joker in THE DARK KNIGHT, Tom Hardy's Bane in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES & Michael Shannon's General Zod in MAN OF STEEL.
To be fair, that's due to the fact that they don't own the rights to their best villains. The major villains they do have like Red Skull, Loki, and Abomination have all been pretty good in my opinion.
YodasGotSoul Red Skull and Abomination aren't actually good. They have some really great heroes. They thrive in that. But the villains? None of them really stood out. Hell, even Loki. I don't see why he's so popular right now. I never really saw him as a funny character. But yeah, WB really kills it with the villains.
Shane Benjamson The key with Loki's success has a lot to do with the actor that played him in addition to the writing. Same can be said for Heath Ledger's Joker.
Just saw the movie, it was AMAZING! I even liked the villain. He was intimidating and incredibly evil, just not charming. He was militaristic, which I liked in comparison to the silliness of the Guardians. I'd give it an A+ myself, and this may be my favorite movie to come out this year. It is certainly my favorite Marvel movie.
The whole mcguffins in the marvel cinematic universe actually have a purpose in that they build up to the infinity gauntlet which will play into the avengers 3
@ Rowan Kelleher, Once again I disagree, Dave Batista did a great job in the movie, and I'll say it again that he took extra acting class and it paid off, don't blame him for how he portrayed his character, he was written that way, especially from the comics, and since I don't want to get into another argument again, I blocked you
I used to be a DC fanboy who would always hate on Marvel for whatever reason. Then, I watched Guardians of the Galaxy and it led me to become a fan of Marvel.
I'm not a huge fan if Marvel. I like some of the Mcu movies, but a lot of thematic don't do anything for me. I haven't seen the whole movie yet, but it's amazing from what I've seen
I knew this was gonna be funny as shit. Hate to be "that guy" that compares everything but I just have to say it because not everyone agrees; this is why I prefer Marvel over DC, they just make superhero movies the way it's suppose to be, explosions everywhere and slapstick humor. Not the serious artsy blokes in DC. Not saying that DC is crap though, just prefer Stan Lee's work.
You realize movies and comics are entirely different and made by different people, you can't prefer one company to another because you like the movies better, that's like saying you prefer coke to pepsi because coke has better commercials. And Stan Lee has nothing to do with the movies aside from the his three seconds in each of them
That's what I meant, I prefer all of Marvels work from comics to movies. Stan Lee is somewhat involved in the movies cause the movies are based on his work in the first place. Problem m8?
That something is about superheroes does not mean that it should not be taken seriously and cant have a great and deep story that is about more than just explosions, battles and comedy.
I'm not saying that IT shouldn't be taken seriously, I respect how DC makes their movies. All I'm saying is that I prefer Marvel and that's it, no shit talking against DC. My god is that hard to understand lol
I read the original comic books of this series, and I was the only kid in my class who knew about these comics, literally. While every one was reading about Captain America or Iron Man, I was reading Guardians of the Galaxy. And when I heard about this movie, I was about as excited when a little girl gets a Barbie doll for Christmas. I took my son to see this movie, as well as my mom and my younger brother. And I just cried tears of joy because it reminded me of all the good memories I had reading these comics during recess and lunch when I was in kindergarten.
Ever since that glorious dragon ball evolution rant, I haven't missed a single review l, thanks for that man u inspired me to take a deeper passion for movies :)
My Top Ten Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies!! 1. Guardians Of The Galaxy 2. Captain America : The Winter Soldier 3. The Avengers 4. Iron Man 5. Iron Man 3 6. Thor : The Dark World 7. Thor 8. Captain America : The First Avenger 9. Incredible Hulk 10. Iron Man 2
Me and my dad always watch Marvel movies and we've always loved them. I freaking loved this movie but my dad was really convinced that it was "too childish" for his taste. Now I don't know exactly why he said it but I figure it's probably because of the comedy. It's a shame to think that he doesn't think that comedy can be part of a great movie, but well, you can't fight against an opinion.
It was such an amazing movie. A solid 'A' from me as well. I don't know where to rank it between Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Guardians for my Favourite MCU movie. all 3 are pretty much at the same level for me.
"Rocket is key to all this, if we can get him working!" ... And they did. I like that comparison. Sadly it makes me wonder again: What if a director with passion, ideas and a new take though with respect for the "source-material" had done the Prequels? Someone like James Gunn? One can dream, right? Guardians was amazing. Fun, good action, likeable characters! How important that is! I recently watched it with my dad (past 60) and he also really, really loved it, too!
Yeah I agree. I honestly don't see the appeal, just seems like a kinda flat humorous villain played by a charismatic and attractive actor. Nothin' special.
Good lord, man. You have me even more psyched to see this movie than I already was. Thank you for an excellent, sharp dressed review, Mr. Stuckmann. I'm looking forward to your interview with Sean Bean. May you have many more awesome interviews in the future. You definitely deserve it.
Guardians of the Galaxy is a perfect gamble. The fact that not many people know who these guys are works against the movie, but at the same time, it works FOR it because only diehard Marvel fans would know who they were. That's not very many people in the grand scheme of things. The Guardians are not well known enough for Marvel to get the backlash if the movie fails, but that has changed now with this film. So, with Phase 2 almost wrapped up, here's how I rate the MCU thus far: 1. Iron Man: Wow. That was cool. 2. The Incredible Hulk: Not bad. 3. Thor: Not bad. 4. Captain America: The First Avenger- Not bad; it was pretty good, actually. 5. Iron Man 2: Cool. 6. Avengers: DC Comics- your move. 7. Iron Man 3: On par with the other two. 8. Thor- The Dark World: On par with the first. 9. Captain America- The Winter Soldier: WOW. 10. Guardians Of The Galaxy: Surprise!
I certainly enjoyed X-Men:DoFP and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but I'm just gonna say it. I think Guardians of the Galaxy is better than both of them. Granted, they are all very different movies but they are all awesome.
Super pumped the movie sounds great! Sadly it sounds like marvel studios just can't get over the villain problem. Haven't thought one was outstanding at all. Winter soldier was at least interesting. But I feel like compared to other comic book movie studios (barring sony), they can't do villains very well.
***** Red Skull was underwhealming, and hardly got any screentime. Loki was alright in the Thor movies, but was a weak annoyance in the Avengers. He did nothing really it was my main complaint with the movie, Killian's character was dumb as hell, but so was Iron Man 3. Pierce was alright, but once again like red skull got no screentime, and while the shield twist was great, he was hardly the greatest villain onscreen. Obidiaha wasn't very fleshed out. Going back and watching the movie again, the betrayal was great (just like cap 2) but he could hardly be considered a great villain. He had what? 1 scene fighting stark? Sadly that 1 scene was the most Iron Man we've gotten in his 3 movies. Honestly Abomination is probably my favorite villain out of the ones you mentioned. But all he had was a grudge, went to kill good guy/protagonist. ect. Like every marvel studios villain.
***** Destroying his home? Your claim hes a good villain is destroying someones home? And no there were about 3 maybe 4 scenes with Iron Man in it. 1 tony stark wasn't even in the suit. I like Guy Pearce as an actor but his character wasn't that great, and it took them 3 movies to get Iron man to face a villain without a suit. And the end fight was pretty anti-climactic. Considering he made jokes and didnt give a shit that the "woman he loves" had been thought to die previously. I gave up with the movie after the house blew up. It went downhill fast from there.
the fact that you enjoyed and liked this film brings me a tremendous amount of relief, i am a comic fan and am in fact a dc fanboy but when it comes to films i will openly admit that mavel is superior, glad to hear that marvels long shot paid off (at least with you, that bit about by fanboyism was just to show that it doesn't matter if its dc or marvel i just want comic book films to succeed)
The thing about Marvel villains is it's always their weak point. I mean Loki ended up as more of an anti - hero, then again his portrayal is still better than the rest.
Alex Pierce from Cap The Winter Soldier is my favourite marvel villain since he was actually threatning and ruthless (Ronan comes close) unlike Loki who was meh
I guess it's become a trend now in Marvel movies to have a weak baddie. Wonder if they'll ever sort it out without the need for Loki (not that I dislike him, but variety is key especially in a universe that is only growing with characters)
Theo Curtis Yeah, I'm really hoping Spader nails Ultron. But I'm a little skeptical about Thanos. He's been built up for soooo long, I fear he might not live up
I agree with TheGoldenCaulk. Loki is a TERRIBLE villain. Tom Hiddleston has no range as an actor. Jeff Bridges as Stane, on the other hand, was fantastic. I haven't seen Iron Man 3 yet, but I hear that Guy Pearce's character was fun, too.
Drew M How can you agree with something I didn't say? That's rather odd.... Loki's a fine villian, my point was that we need variety from all of the villians, and not just different colored versions of Loki. It also helps Loki's case that he got much of Thor 1/2 to build up his character and backstory (and rightly so, he's a primary Avenger's baddie)
***** I liked how Thanos's voice didn't matchup with his body really. He didn't have the voice of a God. He has the voice of a really scary boss after you just fucked up at your job.
Because he's one of the best characters in MCU, Tom Hiddleston 100% owns the role and every second he's on screen, you just see and feel how much he enjoys playing that role. Seriously, he owns it.
I have a gut feeling this movie is exceptionally ordinary. I don't know. I'll watch it when it comes out here in germany. But Critics should never hype a movie like that.
I'm not gonna lie, Chris...when you said that Rocket Raccoon was the Heath Ledger Joker of this film, I danced for 20 seconds while flashing the "rock on" sign. Yeah, that just happened. Best description for Rocket ever. Thank you so much!
i loved the movie! :D so, who wants to call me a Marvel fanboy now? lol you guys are so pathetic here in the comments. i love good movies whether it's a DC movie or a Marvel movie. you guys really need to stop with the, "oh he doesn't like Marvel/DC heroes/villains, so he's a Marvel/DC fan boy" mentality. it's childish to argue over movies which are meant to entertain us. adios.
Clearly, James Gunn has scaled the marvel universe to a level far superior to anything that has been done since. It is sad to see how all the galactic grandeur introduced by this film was later discarded in successive more-of-thesame films. not even the last 2 movies (IW and EG) come close to what was done in these two movies, not in battle scenes, but in the grand context. Russo brothers discarded this, as well as ignored key characters like the Elders, for nothing...
Sorry, it's just not my taste. I also think it's overrated. It was a decent movie, but just not as great as everybody say. The humors are okay, it's like you get the jokes, and you feel funny, but you didn't laugh it out. I personally find that Edge Of Tomorrow made me laugh much more than Guardians of the Galaxy. The beginning was a little boring, but I do agree the characters are lovable, and I like seeing them as a group, the best line for me definitely goes to "Were are Groot". But the development for the characters is a little off, it's not strong enough to form them to become a team. And not to mention the villain, it's the weakest thing of the movie. I wish I could enjoy the movie as much as everybody does, but I was kinda disappointed as I expected more of it. =(
You say it's not your taste, acknowledging that people have different opinions, which is great. But then you also say that it's overrated and not as great as everybody says. Not to call you out or argue against your opinion since you're absolutely entitled to it, but there's nothing wrong with just saying it wasn't your cup of tea and moving on without bringing up the tired, old, overused, "I didn't like it as much as others, therefore it's overrated," line.
Smarmee Well, I do think it's indeed a little overrated, I can't find a different word for it, though I know this word is overused. The movie is good, but for me it's not a 9/10 good, some people are calling it the best summer Blockbuster, although I'm not sure is it still consider as a Summer flick? As I'm not in the US. And frankly I would much more prefer Dawn of Apes and Edge of Tomorrow, or X-Men over Guardians.
I'm fairly new to your channel and videos, been watching a few months now, but I'm still glad things are working out for you. It's very easy to see you love what you do.
Agree completely Chris. Love this movie so much. Also, this is you're most explicit review with the swearing and the jizz in you're pants. It was funny to see.
The fact that the villain was so overly serious was what made the "dance off" so great.
Bobby Gamage I agree. I busted out laughing at that scene XD
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Yes!
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
You call me booooooi
I thought Ronan being a straight villain actually made the movie better. It's always funnier seeing a straight character reacting to all of the nonsense around them, and it worked superbly (particularly at the climax)
A little late but EXACTLY Juxtaposition is always great in comedy
I agree! If he was gay it would have definitely weighed the film down.
My heart nearly stopped when you compared Rocket to Jar Jar Binks. Like my jaw dropped when you said that.
+laz kar I'm glad he was joking, haha
SO TRUE
I was prepared to have a fanboy rage moment if he bad mouthed Rocket.
Oh no he didn’t I loved rocket He was funny as hell. He’s cool looking and interesting. should have talking animals with machine guns!
This is an A+ movie.
Robert Jones it's not an A+😐, it got problems, just because you like a movie a lot doesn't mean it's a perfect movie.
emil engen stop tryna be edgy boi
emil engen it’s a lot better than other mcu movies like have you seen Thor the dark world
emil engen I actually find this movie very unique and emotionally compelling... Marvel's action scenes are always unbelievable but there's always comedy behind this movie's action scenes. Yep. Best year of my life, my favorite film of that year...and it's 1/3 of a decade old already. Fuckkkkk.
Enthios it’s almost 4 years old damn time flies
Damn
really time does flies now we are done with endgame too
This movie was amazing
No it wasn't, it was horrible
I didn't like it either . But I understand whey you like it
+Ruthless Aggression It was good but not great. Definitely not the best movie of the year. Probably give it a 6 or 7 out of 10.
Hahahaha, I assume you're joking
Robert Paulson HIS NAME WAS ROBERT PAULSON
Dave Batista is a beast in that movie, and one of the funniest and the coolest in the movie
I think Ronan being a overly serious villain was completely worth it just for his confused "What are you doing?" response to Chris Pratt at the end
Chris Pratt dancing to "ooh child" makes this film worth the £15 on blu ray alone.
MrSamuel539 A meme doing a meme thing is worth buying... k
+Bruce Wayne shut up bitch
+Bruce Wayne I understand that £15 might be a lot of money for a 12 year old but when you get older you'll realize it's not that much.
+Bruce Wayne 1. The film was made for people who like the comics
2. If you're not 12 your a sad pathetic man who's trying to start trouble because people like a film he doesn't.
3. Fanboy ? Okay mister Wayne. Bye
MrSamuel539 You just said that it's for people who like comics: fanboys. Read yours and my comment you marvel pleb

You mean from the excitement from meeting Chris Stuckmann?
You're fucking hilarious

Cosmic Mike Lol, we got a brainless Marvel fanboy here
he reminds me of adam scott lol
It's not often when a movie has me coming out of a theater in such a great happy mood... This movie, its soundtrack, the humour, great pacing and wonderful visual aesthetics have made it my favourite movie of the year...
4:03 Actually Ronan did have a moment like that, it was when Starlord was distracting him.
Jonathan Seitz and one villain-cum-hero guy no one talked about, and that I personally liked his character was Yondu. Ain't I right, boy!
+Saif Abbas A surprisingly likable character indeed. Yondu was amazing in this movie.
+MaddXav Yes.
God when he said "is rocket the jar jar of this movie?" I got really nervous.

Just got back from seeing this and it was AMAZING!!! a must see of the year!
BWHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA
What?
Maxwell Derpherp It was a bit disappointing in my opinion.
really? what did you not like?
Maxwell Derpherp It just felt way too comic-booky. And although the humor was awesome, I really felt like they could have made it a bit more serious and added some more scenes that actually contributed to the story.
Oh yeah, and Ronan -__-

I agree 100% better than the avengers
Franki Llamoca loki still better
Emmanuel Mondesir I would definitely rather run into Loki then Ronan, I mean Loki let himself get intimidated by Thanos's lackey and Ronan just snapped his neck.
Chris Ulatowsky stillz loki is cooler
ronan is stronger
one thing that bother me
is as the movie vilain, ronan only felt like the #2 but a good #2(lmao wtf im saying
Emmanuel Mondesir Yeah Loki was more memorable and relatable in the movies, but I read the comics and I've always liked Ronan.
Is it me or Chris actually looks a lot alike Chris Pratt ? ah
Illuminati Confirmed
Looks nothing like him
Ewww no
Beard wise yes
Skinnier in the jaw

Chris looks like Han Solo right here
Over my dead body **pew**

Junior Siwiti It's not just the lack of humor, but the lack of depth and character in general.
***** That was fucking hilarious....
lee pace is awesome!! i cant wait to see him as Ronan!!

Damn Chris loved it so much he dropped the F bomb. That's unusual
He always drops the f-bomb in many other videos before
It's very rare. He usually only does it when a movie sucks.
If he freaks out THIS much about about a movie...it's definately very good or very bad (good in this case).

It shall be awesome Justin!
2019 here: it was a great movie. Favorite character was gamora
YodasGotSoul But have abomination and red skull stuck out as much as loki?
YodasGotSoul Red Skull and Abomination aren't actually good. They have some really great heroes. They thrive in that. But the villains? None of them really stood out. Hell, even Loki. I don't see why he's so popular right now. I never really saw him as a funny character. But yeah, WB really kills it with the villains.
***** I did.
Shane Benjamson
The key with Loki's success has a lot to do with the actor that played him in addition to the writing. Same can be said for Heath Ledger's Joker.
"Hey, what's your favorite super hero? "
"oh, a racoon"
Just saw the movie, it was AMAZING! I even liked the villain. He was intimidating and incredibly evil, just not charming. He was militaristic, which I liked in comparison to the silliness of the Guardians. I'd give it an A+ myself, and this may be my favorite movie to come out this year. It is certainly my favorite Marvel movie.
The whole mcguffins in the marvel cinematic universe actually have a purpose in that they build up to the infinity gauntlet which will play into the avengers 3
@ Rowan Kelleher, Once again I disagree, Dave Batista did a great job in the movie, and I'll say it again that he took extra acting class and it paid off, don't blame him for how he portrayed his character, he was written that way, especially from the comics, and since I don't want to get into another argument again, I blocked you
Mister Who this comment has me laughing. Dave Batista did and excellent job he was great in both Guardians 1 and 2
I used to be a DC fanboy who would always hate on Marvel for whatever reason.
I know why. It’s because of “The Punisher”.
Personally, that’s gotta be my favorite DC movie
James Gunn was THE perfect choice for this film.
6 years later still my favorite Marvel movie
Me too and I’m Hype for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 in 2023
Your take on rocket aged like fine wine.. rocket is my favorite character in the mcu
I literally, before this, never eve; heard of GoTG.
They are now my favorite team up ever.
Just saw this movie... AMAZING
I'd rate A+, but I agree about Ronan...
Problem m8?
I met Stan Lee, took pictures with him and had him sign my comic, and he himself said that he finds it funny how they credit him for the movies
I just got back home from seeing this movie. Oh my god Chris, this movie honestly deserves an A+. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!
Ever since that glorious dragon ball evolution rant, I haven't missed a single review l, thanks for that man u inspired me to take a deeper passion for movies :)
When Starlord started dancing in front of Ronan to distract him killed me. Movie is truly hilarious!
Rocket deserves his own spinoff movie. He and Groot were the two best characters in the film.
I wish
OH SNAP STUCKERMAN JUST MADE IT BIG TIME INTERVIEWING "THE BEAN"!!!!!!! Please try not to catch his death. We all love you.

Me and my dad always watch Marvel movies and we've always loved them. I freaking loved this movie but my dad was really convinced that it was "too childish" for his taste. Now I don't know exactly why he said it but I figure it's probably because of the comedy. It's a shame to think that he doesn't think that comedy can be part of a great movie, but well, you can't fight against an opinion.
yh my dad didn't like it also
this movie was fucking awesome
Wish I got to go to an early screening I'm really looking forward to this movie I 'm so hyped can't wait!!!!!
Join the Hype Train Bunny! Choo Choo
"he is the Heath Legder Joker of this movie"
HOLY SH_T!!
Chris Stuckmann You look like Star Lord.
He needs to buy the helmet and wear it during a spoiler review.
who?
alan perez Star-Lord, man! You know, legendary outlaw?... ... ...
?
***** Apparently I am Groot translates to "I am Large." How appropriate :)
Loki isn't even all that great.
We all have our own opinions
***** Exactly. That's MY opinion.
FD Jackson I know but you said it like you were correcting Chris's opinion.
***** No I didn't. But whatever floats your boat.
Yeah I agree. I honestly don't see the appeal, just seems like a kinda flat humorous villain played by a charismatic and attractive actor. Nothin' special.
This movie was the biggest surprise for me in the MCU, I knew nothing about it and had low expectations going in. Was extremely pleased.
Really glad to see such positivity in the reviews of GotG. Great to hear that it knocked it out of the park for you.
Great review Chris. I love this movie so damn good and fun times A-
I agree this movie was AWESOME!!
Holy Shit!! 1:19 Stuckmann cursed!
TheVinyl Brony Yeah, but he doesn't say it as often, only when something is god awful or significantly good; that's the point.
I was just shocked he used it! Didn't expect it!
So, with Phase 2 almost wrapped up, here's how I rate the MCU thus far:
*****
Red Skull was underwhealming, and hardly got any screentime.
***** ? And? The movie had awful pacing, awful directing, and no Iron man. Whether his plan was "evil" or not. He was a poor villain.
*****
Destroying his home? Your claim hes a good villain is destroying someones home? And no there were about 3 maybe 4 scenes with Iron Man in it. 1 tony stark wasn't even in the suit. I like Guy Pearce as an actor but his character wasn't that great, and it took them 3 movies to get Iron man to face a villain without a suit. And the end fight was pretty anti-climactic. Considering he made jokes and didnt give a shit that the "woman he loves" had been thought to die previously. I gave up with the movie after the house blew up. It went downhill fast from there.
They have a lot of characters. I'm hoping for atleast one hero turned bad.
Kevin Bacon should appear in the next film as Star Lord's father.
BIG Congrats, Chris on the Sean Bean Interview... Great score!
the fact that you enjoyed and liked this film brings me a tremendous amount of relief, i am a comic fan and am in fact a dc fanboy but when it comes to films i will openly admit that mavel is superior, glad to hear that marvels long shot paid off (at least with you, that bit about by fanboyism was just to show that it doesn't matter if its dc or marvel i just want comic book films to succeed)
3:23 - 3:29, the most intense 6 seconds of today so far.
my only disappointment in the movie is the nova corp :/
Yeah Nova Corps was really kind of lame in this imo.
And Nova wasn't in it.
THApeanutMagician Nova's not suppose to be in this movie this is an origin story for the guardians of the galaxy
This is still my favourite MCU movie
I'm soooo glad Chris liked this movie!! Now I'm even more excited!!!
Great review Chris! This is the most anticipated movie of the year for me, and I can hardly wait for it to come out. So excited to see it!
The thing about Marvel villains is it's always their weak point. I mean Loki ended up as more of an anti - hero, then again his portrayal is still better than the rest.
+Tamaki742 Loki is still very clearly a villain.
ULTRON is next and he's as bad as it gets. Then THANOS NUF said. I just wish they could use Dr Doom and Galactus
Expectations Raised.
Guardians was fucking amazing, I love baby groot and that dance off!!
welcome to channel awesome Chris!!!! congrats man!!!
Am I the only one who thinks Loki is a shit villain? Very over-rated.
Feel sorry for you bro
i thought so too
***** I am Loki and I am burdened with glorious purpose is a shit line? Please.
loki in the first thor was awesome, but he's just alright in the avengers
Nope rewatch Thor and you'll see why he is so beloved. He's the best villain in the MCU no doubt
Why does everyone love Loki
Tom Hiddleston. That's why.
Because he is one of the most interesting character in MCU. In fact, the only reason I liked Thor 2 is because of Loki.
He's burden with glorious purpose... to make the being bad awesome!
Same reason why everyone loves Ledgers Joker. Loki's portrayal was perfect.
Fuck off.
Jon DeMotto Well, that was polite ;D I meant no disrespect. I'm just skeptical.
trexation it's awesome, every critic says so
Agreed, Chris might have set up some of his fanbase for failure and any backlash would go against him, which would be a shame.
I personally wouldnt want him to falsely downtalk something that he reviews just to avoid some people thinking his review is over hyped
Chris- always love your reviews! Can't wait to see this one for sure!
I'm not gonna lie, Chris...when you said that Rocket Raccoon was the Heath Ledger Joker of this film, I danced for 20 seconds while flashing the "rock on" sign. Yeah, that just happened. Best description for Rocket ever. Thank you so much!
Jesus when Chris uses the F word you know he means business
bournetopwn He also dressed up for this review. This video is full of the real OG Chris Stuckmann
i loved the movie! :D
so, who wants to call me a Marvel fanboy now? lol you guys are so pathetic here in the comments.
i love good movies whether it's a DC movie or a Marvel movie. you guys really need to stop with the, "oh he doesn't like Marvel/DC heroes/villains, so he's a Marvel/DC fan boy" mentality.
it's childish to argue over movies which are meant to entertain us.
adios.
Jason Joy damn right! >:(
Youre not a fanboy trust me, this movie is generally amazing. And anyone who has an opinion otherwise it's just cause theyre haters
Why the fuck did my comment get removed?
Davis Warden umm i think you never posted it lol cause no one can delete your comment, but you or Chris himself.
what did you say anyway? O.o
Eric Cartman I agreed with you on the movie being awesome.
I think I just watched someone's 6 minute nerdgasm
just came back from seeing it. DAYUM!!! We laughed our rears off. So many 80's references and awesomeness we wanted to see it again...immediately!
Great review. You had a really great energy that has been missing lately.
please don't kill Sean Bean :[
Sean Bean dies in every movie because HE'S MY SON!
I hate the UK....Need to see this film!
Doesn't it come out on the 31st? It's not that far away lol.
in greece is coming early september -.-
5 DAYS OF WAITING and lol greece suckz ballsz
Rorschach Kovacs in Argentina, were i live, the movies come out on Thursday, Guardians comes out this thursday. SO HAPPY

MARVEL, TAKE THIS, it's my wallet, you can have all the money inside, just.......... take it
Wow, that LA thing sounds awesome! Ur reviews have always been great, and it's well deserved. Best of luck dude :)
Great review chris! This is my most anticipated movie of the summer, and your review just got me excited!
