I recently developed a latex allergy from using latex dental bands with a mouth night guard and it caused anaphylaxis. Also, just wanted to mention if you have a latex allergy be cautious eating tapioca and cassava to include boba tea pearls.
I have never had allergies to anything before but recently just found out I am allergic to rubber accelerants and hypafix tape that was used to hold my skin patches in place. The Hypafix gave me a really bright reddish pink rash, it was a bit swollen and was extremely itchy even after I got my patches off the itchiness was still intense.
For me, as a patient it was the tape or square patch they use when an IV has been inserted in the antecubital fossa. It would to hold the IV in place…literally it looked like my skin has been burned when the tape was removed.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF POISE PADS THAT WOMEN USE FOR BLADDER PROTECTION WOULD HAVE LATEX IN THEM ,THERES ELASTIC THAT GOES AROUND ON BOTH SIDES??
