My entire life, discipline had been something of a punishment. I felt forced from a young age, going to school, then later in college, then later in the workforce. Even in relationships. Now I'm on my own, attempting to work for myself, living by myself, and discipline is coming easier every day. It is no longer, you have to do this. You must do that. But rather, I choose to do this, so let me take the time for it. Put other things aside and focus. It has been hard, retraining that aspect of my brain. I am sure it must be this way somewhat for others as well. But it has been coming along, and easier and easier every day. Blessings to everyone, and especially those who are taking a new approach at independence, in whatever way, and learning discipline within that!!!
