I got the Platinum after rebate and dealer incentives it was 84K before taxes and the other usual charges. Had to travel to Las Vegas to get the truck but it was well worth it. Truly an awesome vehicle. It has the standard running boards, but they look good. Thank you for the video. Great Job!
Ok, do tell, what makes it awesome ? How does standard running boards look good and what in your twilight zone makes this truck worth 84 thousand dollars before taxes, shipping and "usual charges" of which you don't bother to mention ? I thought my first wife was awesome until the problems showed up and showed me how awesome she wasn't.
I think the lack of leather finish on the dash was a strategic move, they tend to bubble and peel after a couple of years. My Grand Cherokee has had it delaminate it twice and the shop said they have a lot of issues with all brands with that happening.
I like the VW beetle trunk. If you go camping and use the truck as a power bank how long and how many miles do you get out of a change Or do you need to find a charging point in the wilderness ?
Nice review. I am not an EV truck/car guy but do love the "tech" involved with these vehicles. One thing that made me laugh was taking a vehicle like this on a camping trip and then using the electrical outlets to play video games or watch TV. I'm not a camper either but I thought the idea of getting away was to remove yourself from electronic overload which is why you go camping in the woods ? Lol
One thing I like about my Tesla is the software is constantly being updated. What has your experience been since owning this truck. Is Ford pushing out meaningful updates to the software?
I’ve had mine since June 2022, and I still look forward to driving it everyday. Insane magnetic force acceleration, very comfortable, great build quality, a close knit social media family too! I would highly recommend one if you’re thinking about it.
It is an infrared sensor that watches your eyes to make sure you are watching the road, especially if you activate hands free driving, such as Ford's Blue Cruise.
One thing i dont like about these new vehicles. Is the massive screen. When that goes out innthe future it is 2-3k minimum to get replaced. Thats gonna hurt the resale value.
@@mocasorla2753 it’s actually better than you think. I’ve had no troubles whatsoever. Some areas that are charger free populate with chargers quickly. One day you check, no chargers, next time you look, chargers. Pretty amazing.
@@Timbucktoo32 I’ve not had any trouble finding a charger either. In fact every time I look, there are more to choose from! It’s great! The misinformation highway will end at some point. 🤪
The interface between my Android and my Tesla is seamless. There's nothing in the Tesla system that isn't useful. All the maps in the Tesla are from Google maps. There was no problem playing TH-cam music from my phone to the car. I'm able to share a destination on my phone with the Tesla computer. I love it
Scare tactic most likely written by a uniformed political worm. Don’t listen folks. I took this out for a test drive and fell in love with it. It’s fun to drive and still drives like a champ. The oil barons of the world are using the less intelligent people of the world to save their industry!!
i love all the option of this car. All 10 of them. Now, u live in a beautiful country, have beautiful nature around u and many more comforts. ALLAH gives u a beautiful life. Do enjoy it and give thanks to ALLAH for all u have, for all these. Excellent.
Can you imagine any of that technology lasting 5 or 10 years? No mention how much range degrades when you haul or pull substantial weight. Ford's recalls on this particular model have been frightening frequent and all for the low, low price of $81k (including running retractable running boards). Re-sale values would scare even a demon away.
8 year 100,000 battery and motor warranty 🤷♂️ not sure what the panic is about. Some already at 100k and reporting only 6% battery degradation. I paid $55k for mine and insurance is $130 and month. I don't haul trailers interstate at -20 below daily, so not sure where the cons are. $7,500 off too, so in reality it's $47,500
You've fallen for media and misleading stories, sorry. I've had mine for two+ years, and 41k miles. Sure, there have been a few MINOR recalls, more like, Ford watching out for it's buyers and replacing things like, taillight bar even though mine had no cracks, the center rubber console cover. Range degrades? No. I have buddies who pull 10,000lb 38' RV trailers. You simply stop and charge when you need too; kind of like you would do if towing a 10,000lb 38' RV trailer with a gas truck. I didn't pay anywhere near $81k. You don't mention how you can get in one for $50k though? These are the misconceptions/common myths owners help to answer/cancel because they’re simply incorrect. Hope this helps.
I think they are good for elderly people, so they don't have to deal with any maintenance, plus they don't go farther than a grocery store, lol .. other than that, those are toys not really practical vehicles

Doug DeMuro better look out, 'cuz Sakitech is in da HOUSE!!! 😅 Great Review!
Picked up the flash for 53… would like leather but the price was too good for the amount of power
You review cars too.
Nice😊
Some people dont knw this video was shot on a samsung s24 ultra.
Some people might not care but then you could wait a few months and focus on the next cellphone or just buy a better camera.
Thank you for the honest review.

100% agree. I would not want leather in that location.
Hello, I'm considering to buy this truck, however, I'm wondering what the monthly payments look like. My budget is 1k a month
How did you get NBC app? All I have is TH-cam. I'm hoping that they add more stuff like Netflix..

I’m looking to purchase the same car. I was thinking that the dislikes were going to be something terrible.

I just got one a week ago. I'm obsessed. Love it so dang much!
yeah - click bait. I'd hardly call his small dislikes something to hate. Couldn't even find 5 which is the title!!
Nice to see you doing cars now cell phones are boring😁
When is Ford Gonna make the whole rear window roll down !
They cant the patent is owned by toyota for the tundra ,hence why no other manufacture has that option !!!
That is a very strange looking car you have there. I hate to see your truck.
Lol
What is the blinking light on the inside, next to the outer mirror? Blind spot lights??
It is an infrared sensor that watches your eyes to make sure you are watching the road, especially if you activate hands free driving, such as Ford's Blue Cruise.
I can tell you never been camping
No tv no Xbox when camping lol
Does it charge on either side?
Nope, drivers side only.
mahshaAllah. Congratulations ❤ my favourite colour.
Awesome video.
What the heck? I watch your Samsung videos and had no idea you did other reviews👍
Isnt this a 2023? That color was discontinued for 2024.
Looks like it. It still has the “fake charging port” on the passenger side. The 2024s don’t have it anymore.
I can't believe Ford dropped this color! I've been waiting on the 24s to come out so I could order exactly what I want. And they dropped my color.😢

It's not a car! It's a 6600 lb Truck
That is not a full-size truck bed.
Bro…the ICE versions of F150 super crew cabs are exactly the same length. Damn some of you are as quick as the fake trolls
@@ManuelFlores-oe2wf None of the Ford lightnings have a full-sized bed. They are all like 5'6 or so. I can get an F150 ICE with a full 8' bed.
65 in a 45 zone……….careful out there😳
Nice... 🙂
Dig deep, I have no doubt you would find more than 5 things you like and hate about a Ford of any make, model or color.
I’m thinking Ram Hybrid instead of full EV, charging network and infrastructure is not fully ready for all of this EV Buzz. Time will tell,
