Spa is DEFINITELY one of my favorite tracks for racing events. I can just imagine driving the Cup car was almost a religious experience. Well done, James. This really puts us in the driver’s seat as much as possible without actually being in it. But it CERTAINLY makes you really WANT to be in the driver’s seat. Very cool video.

Absolutely outstanding driving of Spa. Well done. Yes the car is a track weapon but it takes both experience and confidence in the car to wring a 2:30 out of it there. And video quality was top notch. I have gone all the way through the AMG Driving Academy in the US and driven the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo on track. This sounds like a great experience. Am talking with Porsche about it now.
@@Iseenoobpeoples I am not sure, maybe more. The weight is huge as well. A new michelin slick vs one with 150km at spa is 2s/lap. On my channel I have uploaded video where I am free lapping in the 21-22 range. On a proper quali lap the top pros get below 20
@@bmardini The suspension of the street car will be overwhelmed by the Michelin slicks so I doubt it can improves the time by more than 3s. Every time we talk about lowering the weight all performance metrics are improved. The list just goes on and on. Thanks for your comments.

Killer video! You guys should try recording cockpit noises with a binaural microphone for 3D audio. Something like a Sennheiser Ambeo into a Zoom F6. I can't imagine how great that would sound for driving videos.

I’ve seen these in person, nothing puts them in to perspective on how loud and good they sound. One thing I found out is that the older 997 GT3 Cups are much louder than already loud 992s
I am green🤢with envy James. To drive the GT3 RS and the Cup Car back to back at Spa has to be a big ✅ tick on the ‘Bucket List’ and memories to last a lifetime😎👍 Big shout out to Porsche. Great cars, great people, great food = a great experience😎👍

Amazing how similar the on board footage seemed to a race sim I've been playing in a gt3. Break points, gear changes almost identical. Nothing like the real thing tho. Reckon I'd be 5 seconds slower IRL.
