I'm enjoying your travels 😊yes the jet of water was worth waiting for ⛲ Jane, looks like you would be good at CPR the way you were pushing down on that pump. You saying about potatoes in the ridge 🐒 we always keep a tin of potatoes in campervan they are great drained dried with kitchen paper, cut up and fried in the 🐒. Enjoy your weekend, looks like it's going to be a scorcher 🥵 Regards Jan x
😂 I never thought about the cpr training that may come in useful in getting a few cracked ribs. Interesting we were talking about tin potatoes the other day and we should generally try them. Certainly is a hot one so far so no complaints here - thanks for watching and above all commenting
Enjoyed that. We never thought that was Jane running until you said. If I tried that I think my belly would slap me to death so I will stick to walking 😁👍
It was you Jane, you made it work, don't let them fool you. Hackfall is now on our must visit list. It is growing so big we need a year away and a mortgage for fuel. Stunning area. An iron!!!! What is one of those🤣 You definitely aren't scared of all those axe murderers any more with your park ups.
lol I think we have mainly sorted wild camping although there will always be a ‘should we / are we ok’ debate …..fuel is definitely prohibitive we have a packed schedule this year in visiting Ireland for 10 weeks so that could be expensive but we plan on to do short journeys - thanks for watching and Hackfall is a nice walk and they have larger distance ones to
How great to see Debbie, it’s been years since in l last saw her. Fantastic drone shots, a Shame you couldn’t get it up over the white horse. Looking forward to your next vlog 👍
Filled pasta with sauce is a go to for us, I think adding a salad would be a good idea. We use tinned potatoes, we don’t have a ridge monkey but use a tapanyaki as we are nearly always on an EHU. I put a sprinkle of chip seasoning over them and they taste delicious. Take care Gill
Thanks for watching and commenting ☺️ Great go to isnt it. We will definitely be trying the canned potatoes. Makes life in a van alot easier. Will also keep an eye out for chip seasoning. Never heard of that before. Jane
Yep I should of done a bit more research about the drone flying or seeing a better view point …. I didn’t see mouseman workshops but that sounds one for the future …. Thanks for watching
@@getawaygeese yes, our 10 year old border terrorist and that's not a typo error lol 😆 he's always up for a long walk..not always sure we are ..minds willing..knees not so much so 😁🐕🚙
Your UTube name is similar to the name given to my wife & I, our granddaughter was out walking & sent us a message thanking us for looking down on her while she was walking & attached a photo of 2 old crows sitting on a wire.
Haha 😂 brilliant ….. how thoughtful …, I have had a long association with geese through work etc and even have a tattoo lol you need to get sone crows added yourself
Welcome I hope you continue to enjoy our content - we have evolved over a few years and the early stuff was a bit raw 😂- many thanks for watching and above all commenting
Very interesting video again, Well done Jane for doing the run and Stew for getting his exercise filming you. Question- I have noticed twice now when Jane is talking the camera is filming in a mirror image. anyway, once again thanks for sharing and keep up the great work you both put into making your videos. ATB
Hi john - thanks for watching and commenting ☺️. You are eagle eyed 🦅 as we had to rewatch the video to spot it😂. We sometimes film on my iphone which we then flip☺️ jane
Thanks for adding what3words really useful information. You must go to Bolton Abbey it’s fabulous, also recommend Fountains Abbey, stunningly beautiful but go out of school holidays! Enjoying riding along on your trip and watching you grow in confidence with each vlog.
Hackfall was brilliant. Loved the pump up fountain. Suspect I would have given up before it went off. Nice pub. That battery issue is a right pain. I feel for you. What a shame you couldn’t put the drone up over the white horse. Lovely vlog. Thanks for sharing 🙏👍🐶🐶🚐🧙♂️
Yep Hackfall I would go back and explore more of the grounds - the pub was top notch but not the cheapest …. I didn’t really think through the white horse so it served me right - thanks for watching
Well you looked as if you were doing very well Jane but running is not for everyone. 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️ and you did manage to get the fountain to work unlike others 😂😂😂 so clearly your keep fit campaign is working very well😀😀
Aha so no pogo stick! It looked a lovely water fountain glad it was worth the effort. You’re looking much more settled into the vanlife each week. Take care, Sue 😊
Yes this trip has certainly made us more relaxed …. I don’t think the anxiety of wild camping will go but it is certainly less stressful … thankyou for watching and commenting
Thanks for the watch and comment ☺️. Hackfall is definitely worth a visit. I read about the history of Studley Water Gardens because of the link with John and William Aislabie and its definitely on my list. Looked great. Jane ☺️
Lol, no way am I ever doing running! Another lovely video and some great places visited. We try to log where we've been too and then half the time we can't even remember where we spent the previous night!😂 Think moving around so much messes your brain up, it does ours.😁
Lol yes I must admit it took me about an hour of trying to work out the trip. Jane tries to keep a log then bloody forgets to complete it so we have gaps. I be am with you on running I simply can’t so I admire anyone who can I blame it on my delicate bone structure lol
Hi guys. Great vid and more good looking park ups. Hackfall looks interesting. Fine effort with the running…looked like you were really motoring there. Made me tired just watching lol. Always a treat to see the sunset and that was a fine one. Take care x
Thanks again for an interesting travlelog! I have one question though: Would you mind giving places locations in a normal format like N/S and E/W or in the British National Grid, so anyone can use them with any map, without the need for a special app that's based on a proprietary and completely arbitrary system like What3Words?
Hey Carlo thanks for watching and commenting re the location I will try to remember on the next video and will add the Google maps cords or something - remind me if I forget Also if you want any coordinates on any past ones as I will send them to you - I started using what3words as it seemed to be wildly used as a free app but no issue in adding more info if it helps

The White Horse is probably best seen from a distance anyway. There's also the "Mouseman" workshops at Kilburn - attractive but pricey!

Great vlog again guys and Hackfall is now on our list to visit. Think our Blue would love it as much as your friend's Blue did 😊🐕🚙

Hackfall looks worth a visit. It's good to have things to look at on a hike. We went to Studley Water Gardens last year, they were spectacular.
Thanks for the watch and comment ☺️. Hackfall is definitely worth a visit. I read about the history of Studley Water Gardens because of the link with John and William Aislabie and its definitely on my list. Looked great. Jane ☺️
Another great vlog, and we’ve now added Hackfall to our list of places to visit. Can I ask how you’re doing your map animation please? Happy travels!
Hi - thanks for watching and commenting- we use TravelBoast app that’s free in the main but you can buy the vehicle images etc
