Chris on Jags low battery with trigger are kinds of error messages as the system shuts down modules due to low power, once it triggered the engine light and once you started it or charged the battery it will normally clear on its own after a number of start sequences. Car is looking good
totally agree on this. they are very sensitive to any drop in voltage or low voltage and an array of errors can occur. keep it on a battery charger / tender
It’s a low battery thing. I have an XK-R and a low battery causes the same sort of random errors on the display. Charge the battery and clear the codes with an OBD2 and all will be good.
Just a headsup if nobody has mentioned it previously but plugging a regular OBD reader or anything into the OBD port on Jags will usually result in getting a "Low Battery" message due to the fact the connection isn't closed. If this happens in the future - remove connections to the battery in the boot for 10-30 minutes and then reconnect and charge. Should be sorted! I've found these battery issues are a common source of problems for loads of other problems that aren't really "problem". Absolutely loving these videos and looking forward to some more Jag content!
Outstanding content, love the colour and the car wish my XK Artisan was this lovely blue. You pointed out the battery was flat in the early part of the video, this will cause numerous fault indications. However when the battery is charged a lot will disappear, N.B you may have to drive the car to complete a " drive cycle " before it learns and adapts to how you drive, its an ongoing process, it continually changes according to driving style if its the same as the XK's. Amazing achievement and cannot wait to see the finished product. Thank you and good luck with the build.
For an out the gun paint job as an ex detailer myself, that is a great job as best as I can tell viewing from the screen. It looks a very high quality job! Impressive stuff! Loving the build. Keep it coming, loving the vibes. Keep it up Chris, channel deserves to be kicking off !

@@Chris_Slix sorry - that’s me having a brain fart, the facelift’s introduced the one that snaps back, so you’ve most likely been sold the face lifted clock spring - if you compared the design between a pre facelift f type stalk to a facelift you’ll probably see the difference
I’m sure that our Evoque light switch was exactly the same. Flick one way and it turns them on and returns to the centre and flick again and turns them off.
Loved watching the respay but can’t help but think how beautiful the car would look in that colour but with a satin finish, still thought love the colour good job

I think you did amazing job and the car should be on show before and after for others to understand the work that goes into repairing a car. It’s a ton of work and you saved a great looking car. As well got power. I be proud to drive one never knew they were made. And I am gearing up head Lol. But my choices are a bit less but have a few sweet rides but have a rust free1983 Toyota FJ -40 usa specs. The most rare cruiser to find and I had for years totally rust free. Lived in climate control garage to a dr who only drive when snowed in his mansion side of. Mountain. Brought site unseen and could not believe my luck. Never knew tell appraisals came in well over 100,000.00 usd. One of fifty in 1983 & now the very best low miles cruiser mint off white. Amazing to nice to drive. I owned for appro 15 years but health forces sale. I sending to Vancouver BC to be sold. Amazing full load even real Toyota ac works too. I have a few others and was taken apart 1 bolt broke taking every nut and bolt out. I’ve had two year old and most 10 ml for roof removal be broke so was amazed. That light switch seems to be the same as my Range Rover Sport, the inner ring is for the front and rear fog lights and it’s rest position is back to centre. You rotate fwd for front fogs on then repeat to turn off. Rotate back for rear fog on and again for rear fog off. The lights on mine are same stalk but rotate bigger ring closer to the end of the stalk.

This is a great video, the song (in de spraybooth) and the color, i wasn't a fan of the color blue but after owning a lapiz blue golf i realy fancy the color and now i like the velocity blue 🥰🥰🥰🥰
The e-diff.gearbox. 2wheels etc error could from multiple reasons, the stupidest reason I ever have was from the battery running low. Or there are something messing up with the CANBUS. One time I tried to swap the stock seat to a bucket seat, without the seat control module plugged in, all the errors pops up and the car become undrivable...Jaguar really need to redesign their electric system..
Crash sensors in front bumper will put airbag light on .amazing colour 👌ive made my airbags deploy on my f type twice so plenty of practice repairing f types good car crap driver !

New steering wheel could have been an original factory option and I would have chosen that also.. look you guys made a mistake with Brexit (in my opinion) that was a close call.. DON'T make the same mistake with those brake calipers;)
I think if Jag would've put some nice sleek carbon louvres at the back on the ledge just above the petrol cap, obv on both sides. But nothing too icky. Something nice, slim n sleek in design. But I know they wouldve had no aero benefit though so that's prob why it wasnt done. But this car is nice, very nice n I wouldnt be able to sell this one myself lol
