My top 10 strategic games are: 10: Dinosaur Island 9: Everdell 8: G.I. Joe Deck Building Game 7: Legendary Encounters: An Alien Deck Building Game 6: Race for the Galaxy 5: Suburbia 4: Merchant of Venus 3: The Republic of Rom 2: Civilization 1: Leaving Earth And honorable mentions: Founding Fathers (2007) doesn't list it as "strategic", but it's the successor to Republic of Rome, playing nearly the same but with American history, so I count it. Acquire: because it's just so amazing of a money game! Cosmic Encounter: because it's another amazing game that is always different Dune: because it's an outstanding game that I just don't get to play enough these days Infinite City: because every time I play the game, it's been a blast to play, but I don't own it (I'm in the process of rectifying that)
Nice lists! I LOVE Wayfarers! Also we really like Planet Unknown and Castles of Burgandy (I am painting the 3D buildings for Burgandy right now). We've also been really enjoying Akropolis (great for quick game), Wild Tiled West, Cascadia, Wandering Towers, Isle of Cats, LIfe of the Amazonia, Wonderland's War, both Sleeping Gods, and Lost Ruins of Arnak. Our B list (which sees a little less play) includes Search for the Lost Species, First Rat, Explorers of the North Sea, Ticket to Ride, Illiterati, Taverns of Tiefenthal, and Aqua. Just to name a few. Keep up the good work, you guys are awesome!
Thanks for the video. Looking to pick up Dinogenics on that kickstarter soon. I call that worker type on Wayferers "Freelancers" hehe. For the captain is dead I bought a set of fisher price star trek "little people". Makes it funnier lol.
