I am honored to have inspired this episode of the new channel name. Poor Roger Rabbit he is best revisited as a movie and not a game. As far as your list goes I have experienced the same with Dragons Crown and to this day want to enjoy it but every attempt goes stale.
Yupp all thanks to you my friend haha. Hard to believe we did that video in 2017. Thought it was like a year or two ago. Yea dragons crown suffers from needing to replay the same levels over the too many times
You're correct about Metroid: the same team did both Samus Returns and Dread. I somewhat gave up on the RE2 remake myself. I never did the second scenarios, but I did enjoy what I played. Most of the games on this list I've never even touched, and most likely never will. This does make me wonder if there are any games you finished that you wished you gave up on. Excellent vid my man!
Thank you so much and welcome! i really appreciate you saying that. Not sure how I cracked the code here but very happy none the less lol. I look forward to seeing you around bud and hearing your opinions as well
Major congrats my dude. So happy to hear that. Yes it’s been a great week haha. Hopefully it keeps rolling bud. All the best to you and your new spouse!
I had the roger rabbit game as a kid and could NOT do anything in the game so i just walked around the world until i eventually died. Did that over and over. Nostalgia for the sprites, and nothing else.
Oh man what a great story. I had similar things happen to me on certain nes games too. I would always try Trojan thinking “maybe this time I’ll get it” never did lol. Fall down the man hole die, ok into something else
Congratulations on the rebranding! It was really tricky to find your channel indeed when I watched first video from your channel and forgot to subscribe :) Btw Return of Samus has a really great art style and 3D effect. Thoroughly enjoy this game. The last boss was a little on the hard side but manageable
Thank you my friend! Man that’s sad to hear you couldn’t find it and thank you for persisting and finding it haha. I can’t remember why I stopped playing Samus returns. I need to return to it esp after playing dread.
Congrats on the rebrand! Definitely agree on FE Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. I think I made it farther in than you did, but after a certain point, the level design just gets so bad that fights are actively painful to slog through.
Thank you so much bud. Don’t think I forgot about your game either. Haven’t had a chance to jump back in after the demo cut me off at 14 days. Wanted to make sure my thoughts were of the whole thing. Lol just haven’t had time with all the new releases. Yea man echoes really bummed me out since I had been enjoying gaiden so much. I’ll likely give it another shot someday but just felt to disconnected from FE in a bad way
Bro you gotta get a RE2 another shot it's not that bad😅 Going to the game will make you a better gamer. It helps you stay calm and focus on things aren't getting tense. Plus after you beat it and play it with a second character. It's much easier cause you know where everyone is. Personally, I can't quit a game. I've played far into I have to see where it ends Whether i'm loving it or not. I'm going thru that right now with an Evil Within
Of all the games i've given up on I'm well aware that RE2 remake is likley one that I need to go back to first. Maybe this october i'll get around to it lol
I feel we share a similar philosophy on what makes us give up on games. Also I'm a wimp with horror games, strangely moreso as I've gotten older, weeeird. Fire Emblem Three Houses, God of War Ragnarok and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 are so recent examples for me.
No shame on being a horror game wimp my brethren lol. It is funny that it’s gotten Worse as you’ve aged though. I managed to beat three houses and Ragnarok but gave up early on Xenoblade 2. Though the Atreus section in the ironwood was something that could have tapped me out as was monastery builder 2019 in FE
i give up on most games that i play. games are just too damn long now and half way through it will start to feel like i've already experienced what the game has to offer and i'll move onto another game. if i were to commit to a full 50 hour game then i'd just end up experiencing fewer games.
Yea that is a real problem with modern games. Especially when you can tell that 10-20 hours is padding. But there is very vocal segment of gamers that will complain if the game is too short too. The order 1887 got hit with this along with other things. I actually enjoyed it for that reason. Same thing with until dawn and the quarry. A tight well formed experience works. Why else were the games of the ps1 era like Metal gear solid and RE/SH so successful. Make me want to play it again rather then bloat it to death
@@LukesGamerRoom definitely. if a game is shorter then i'm 100% more likely to replay it one day. i just replayed eternal darkness due to it being only around 15 hours. there's no chance i'd have done so had it been 50 hours long.
Hey, I don't really have much to say....just dropping that comment lol edit: I will also thank Dragon Age: Inquisition and Little Samson, it was what brought me to the channel iirc
oh yeah I found the comment "Yay you got a little samson woopty fuckin do I have a big bulging samson." 7 years ago was my first comment to this channel lol
Haha funny you should say that. I checked it out as part of my 360 coverage and loved it. I even went out and bought the ultimate edition that has the dlc on disc

Hope the name changes brings the subs, you deserve it, great channel!
Thank you so much. It’s already paying dividends lol, having a great week in subs already

Thank you so much and welcome! i really appreciate you saying that. Not sure how I cracked the code here but very happy none the less lol. I look forward to seeing you around bud and hearing your opinions as well
sup sup buddy, glad to see this channel growing. i've been watching since way back when you were reviewing Super Famicom repo carts haha. cheers!
One of the ogs. Still have some super Famicom games to cover to someday lol. Crazy that was 8 years ago
I wish I gave up on some games that I completed..
Funny you should say that, I have a video on that subject too lol
Just got married this past weekend, I come back and the channel name has changed and the views are blowing up, I love it!
Major congrats my dude. So happy to hear that. Yes it’s been a great week haha. Hopefully it keeps rolling bud. All the best to you and your new spouse!
@@LukesGamerRoom appreciate the love homie, Twas a magical day
Well, this appeared in my feed. So I guess the name change is working.
Yea this video has done amazingly well. So hopefully that’s the case haha

You should gove Dragon Age Origins a chance!

@LukesGamerRoom oh maybe I forgot than! I have watched most of your Xbox related content! My bad man!
You have a lot of rules. I mean you've got to game the way that you like but maybe get more selective about what you jump into.
