    I was so relieved to see that Roger rabbit for the NES was not given up on you should definitely give that game a try again.

    Hi Luke! Thanks for the video buddy!
    Dark Souls is one of my favorite games. I beat it in about 70 hours and put 70 more in the game plus but it was too hard so I still didn’t finish this mode. The second playthrough was the great experience and magical. I kept uncovering secrets and new mechanics after 100 hours. What a Game!
    And I know you don’t care too much about this stuff but anyway:) The composition of the video is really good but there is not enough light to make the picture better. A couple or even one light source in the front of you will make a big difference.
    Anyway great video man! Thanks for sharing your love to games!

      You know what’s funny I do have a light in front of me but I think the sign behind me messes with the white balance and darkens the picture but I greatly appreciate the feedback. Been trying to figure out a solution that doesn’t require a giant soft box like I used to use but I digress. Never down play your opinion man I’m happy to take the criticism and curse you behind your back :) lol
      As for dark souls live to hear it man. I wish I hadn’t paused my play through as I was having a great time before that happened. Even steamed a bit of it too. Maybe when they remaster the remaster for ps7 I’ll try again lol

    It was fun hearing your reasons behind giving up on these games. Dark Souls is one I've tried to play a couple of times and lose interest in an hour or so, so I never bothered with the rest of them. Gave up on Sonic Adventure 2 at the end of the damn game lol. Contra 4 on the DS made me realize I'm not as big a fan of the series as I thought. There's not many more I can think of beyond that. Excellent vid my man, and keep up the great work!

      Souls games can be like that. You have to be in the right mood. This is where sekiro and Elden ring are far superior imo. Man contra 4 was rough on me too but that’s just ds in general lol. Thx bud

    I love Skyward Sword. But agree with you on Xenoblade 2. Finally someone else who doesn't go nuts over it.
    Grapple dog is a game I gave up on recently. It's a 2D platformer on the Switch, that's pretty good. But in the levels you get hidden gems, which I thought were optional or that I didn't need to get many. So I got up to the last boss, found out I didn't find nearly enough gems. Then looked it up and there was a bonus world with more levels.
    I couldn't be bothered going through the levels again finding more gems. Then there's a bonus world after the final boss anyway. Personal pet peeve when platformers throw in extra levels after you think you finished.

      If I may ask what about skyward sword do you like? I will admit it has a lot of fun ideas but just found it to plodding and stretched out for its own good. Brothers in Xenoblade disdain! Lol
      A game having “hidden gems” as a collectible is amusing to me. Personally I hate that kind of game design. Put the challenge on beating the level not going over piece of the level with a fine toothed comb. I like finding secrets every so often. Not knowing there are 5 secret locations per level!
      I wouldn’t say i hate it when platformers do that. I know the last several Mario games are guilty of it. But I do think it’s over done. I think super Mario world handles the idea better than say Mario 3d world. I’m more annoyed when they add extra collectibles I. Previously collected worlds a la the green stars in Mario galaxy

      @@LukesGamerRoom I like the motion controls, and the animations. I love the art design, the watercolor sorta style. I like that the lead up to the dungeons, are like dungeons.
      It's not the best, but it gets a lot of shit and I really enjoy it anyway.

      The flying hun kills it for me more then anything to be honest that and the dark one escaping sections

    Bro I was typing this comment last week and my phone died. We’re back to give my 2 cents! For me it was mostly modern more open world games I got burned out on. As I look through my collection it’s Batman Arkham knight (Batmobile), days gone (repetitive), the new doom games (magic just isn’t there for me), ff7 remake (too many dumb side quests), kingdom come deliverance (tired of the bugs), dying light 2 (buggy, missing magic of first game), metal gear 5 (repetitive), no no kuni 2 (missing magic of first game), nioh 2 (burned out on combat style after playing the first game), red dead 2 (too slow), risk of rain 2 (looooved the first game, 3d just not as good to me), final fantasy strangers of paradise (shouldn’t have even bought it), currently the Witcher 3 (too over leveled too easily, combat is now boring as a result and skellige is a slog), and all the yakuza games I’ve tried (too much talking)!

    • @LukesGamerRoom
      @LukesGamerRoom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Man I feel you on sone of those. It’s funny cause virtually all of them are the same type of game. Red dead, days gione, Witcher 3, dying light 2, Arkham knight, ff7 remake. Find npc mission rinse and repeat lol. Though I beat all of those but Arkham knight haha. I agree with you about risk of rain 2. But I did still enjoy playing it for a time. Haven’t tried the others. Though I did pick up stranger of paradise for 20 dollars. But I’m expecting it to be bad if I ever play it lol. Interesting to hear someone not like the yakuza games. I’ve never played them but all I ever hear is how great they are lol and metal gear 5 I just never got around to starting. The whole split it in two thing always bugged me

      @@LukesGamerRoom I’m too adhd to stick with something I’m not feeling, kudos to you for seeing most of them through. The overuse of the open world and fetch quest type of gaming is just worn out, botw worked in that regard and so did elden ring among others, but it’s gotta check all the right boxes for me to want to play it all the way through. I either don’t finish a game or I 100% it, there’s no real in between for me, lol. And yeah man if you want to watch a long af ok movie play any of the yakuza games, I kind of like the judgement series from them for the depth of sega lore and side quests and the ‘japaneseyness’ of it, but I still think there is still a little too much talking in those games too. And I agree Risk of rain 2 is still a decent game, just didn’t hold me as long as the first one did which I 100% and kept on playing for a long time. Also just throwing out a game not sure if you’ve ever played it but ‘death road to Canada’ One of my absolute favorites of the last 10 years.

    • @LukesGamerRoom
      @LukesGamerRoom  ปีที่แล้ว

      I absolutely loved death road for Canada. I did a video on it back in 2018 if you want to know my thoughts lol. Look up p lucious t death road and make sure google doesn’t correct the lucious spelling…so annoying. And yes BotW and Elden ring got it right. I’d say Spider-Man did it well too but I think the game was still pretty shallow outside of the cool factor of being Spider-Man

      You got yourself stuck in the 100 floor dungeon didn’t you lol. Well if you ever get to the end watch out for the glitch area right before you find the sword of ruin. I beat lufia 2 right after I beat shadow run snes come to think of it.
