@@Alexlalpaca I think the movie is Born for the Sabre or something (no idea how to write the polish title) pretty good fight too although I haven't seen the full movie
I do like how this seemed to let you connect the story on its own, and you get to see how human the characters are when they fight, they make mistakes, they hesitate as if unsure, and heck, the dude grabbed a log and tried to defend himself, it seemed like an actual fight that you can't tell was choreographed and actually looked like they were fighting for their lives, this is awesome.

The Poles were amongst the best & most skilled swordsmen in all of Europe for centuries, in terms of skill, dexterity & the versatility of their different, always evolving styles. Watch that movie "Born for the Saber," as it is about the life & times of a frontier swordsman extraordinaire of Polish nobility back in the early 17th Century, featuring swordfighting duels that have been deemed as the finest, most realistic & exciting ever put to film. The final slice that simulates the kill, would that cut actually kill so quickly? I can't imagine the blade cutting deep enough to reach an organ. I suppose the victim might bleed out but that takes a couple minutes if it hits the jugular or carotid...but they aren't located in the chest area.
Was that filmed in Poland?? Amazing! You guys are true, fantastically adept practitioners of HEMA, without doubt some of the finest & most dedicated on the planet, spectacular masters of your craft, your art & your passions. Never a less than thrilling or riveting video. Always superbly choreographed & filmed, with so much painstaking attention paid to the various & intricate details, the period fashion & all the gracefully seamless, unerring & magnificent swordplay💯💯👍👍
Well, I did not understand the plot (if someone explains i'll be glad), but what i DID understand is the magnifisence of the cinematography and battle choreography in this short movie! Another masterpiece from you good sirs!

I like the sword stuck in the scabbard at 2:47. Learn to evade a sword without a weapon, and you will be that much better with one. The scabbard can be an effective weapon in it's own right.
Italian Masters, Polish nobles... this castle has sure seen some peculiar duels throughout its history hahaha ;)
"realistic swordfighting doesn't work for storytelling"

Thanks, we tried our best:D
There is a polish film that did this but with a higher budget and actual actors, I wish I could remember the name, it was good.

Cool af. Especially the part where the guy in white hooks the saber out of his opponent's hand. That was some John Wick level stuff.
Polish saber - beautiful weapon! Thanks for the great video, guys!
Thanks for your support!
I just love how you guys keep history alive. I'm reading the Deluge right now and this really brings it to life.
Is it the start of a new serie like the Fiore one ?
I hope so.
Please yes
If they do it I'll watch them 100 times!
Goddamn that would be the day!
Antoni Olbrychski's grandfatehr was one of the stars in 1977's The Deluge which has one of the best saber duels ever put to film.
