Hi doc. What I am seeing everywhere in India is that people are focussing on loosing "weight".... But it must be loosing "fat". Because of this people are losing muscles as well and it is causing more issues. Please do a video on this. We Have To Remove This Term "WEIGHT LOSS" and use "FAT LOSS" in normal language.

I am a JEE aspirant and my exams are 3 months ahead My BMI is 29 and i am 171 cm and about 89 Kg I gained my weight from 74 to 89 within 5 months I am not going much outside I am staying at home most of the.time But whenever i try to start exercising i can't stay consistent and also i feel like giving time to exercise means cutting my study hours So i have thought to not do anything And just control food And wait to join college and i will Start exercising once i join a college The good thing is i am not consuming any junk food and no such food is prepared in my home All i eat is rice, dal and vegetable curry I just wrote it as i think most people like me are going through the same phase There's not getting time to exercise just because they're studying
The simplest thing uhh can do is...1..walking ...(very under rated.but effective ) 2.cut on sugar and junk ....3. Add black coffee to your diet . Just do ...30 mins of walk in morning. daily it has helped me and it will also help in maintaining a proper schedule as uhh are studying .
You can go to your roof or a space where you can atleast walk normally. While doing a subject where you don't need to write anything, like reading something or watching an online class, you can do that along with walking. Initially for around 5 minutes, you might feel you are having less attention on studies, but then you will get used to and walking would be stored as a habit on your subconscious mind so it won't require attention.

I'm not sure about this doctor. I was 103 kilos. I started doing intense workout most of them are HIT. Boxing intense running and all sorts of high intense compound workouts. I drop weight like anything. In 7 months I dropped 20 kilos. I used to work out 4 to 5 days a week. My aim was to burn 700 to 1,000 calories a day. I was always working out in zone three four sometimes zone five as well. As per your logic I shouldn't have dropped any weight but I did. Not just weight I lost around 7 in on my waist as well. How do you explain that.

Yes please clarify sid.. one more thing, during my +2 board exams I would listen to binaural Beats in the morning time as I used to sleep for 2 hrs at night so I wanted to increase my focus concentration and memory as it guarantees to kinda make up for the sleep deprivation... And to my surprise i never faced a problem related to remembering something. So it works I guess but really want to know if it is neuro scientifically certified
By my own experience, if you want to increase focus , do exercises, yoga , Pranayama, Binaural Beats can help you increase focus but it harful to your ears and nervous system.

Maybe start with walks outside your house. Go on a vacation with someone you trust which will allow you to divert your mind. Add little little positivity in your life as small as taking long baths. Seizure is very common - 1 in every three people has it (many people don’t even know about it) don’t make a common health problem rule your life. Longer happy life is waiting for you - grab it! So much that I say okey f* this shit imma eat whatever I want and regrets instantly. How should we keep ourselves away from upfs when we have cravings.😭

I don't know about fat but protein is used in repair and growth of body and to increase muscles so and generally we don't eat excess protein instead we eat less protein

Brisk walking is a good start. Find a good walk path, calculate distance on google maps, Target around 5-6 kms in one hour. Helps if you have a smart watch to check heart rate.

In short -
Stay in zone 2- 60-70% of your maximum heart rate - for 180 mins a week.
